Features

The following new or updated functionality will be included in this release.

Enhanced Receiving Operations of Serialized Products

Companies that own OPUS Serialized Operations Manager (SOM) can now enable operators to receive serialized products without the associated shipment. With this enhancement, dispensers can scan, validate, reconcile, and receive products in a single workflow, simplifying the receiving process. For organizations with multiple sites, dispensers, retail pharmacies and healthcare providers can filter receiving operations by location to improve site-level visibility and operational efficiency.

This feature includes the following capabilities:

  • Receive serialized products by scanning totes (SSCCs), cases, or eaches.

  • Validate products in real time against supplier EPCIS data during scanning.

  • Track receiving progress with live scan summaries and quantity reconciliation.

  • Automatically detect exceptions, including duplicate scans, invalid barcodes, and validation errors.

  • Submit validated products in a single receiving operation across multiple deliveries.

As part of this feature, the following screens are introduced:

  • Receive Products – Scan serialized products, review validation results, monitor receiving progress, and review validation errors before submitting the receiving operation. For more information, see Receive Products.

Search for and View Receive Operations

OPUS SOM Owners can search for and review the receiving operations, including processing status, quantity reconciliation details, and audit information.

Organizations with multiple sites can filter receive operations by location to improve site-level visibility and operational efficiency. On the Search Receive Operations screen, users can apply one or more location filters, either alone or with other search criteria, to quickly identify inbound deliveries for a specific site.

As part of this feature, the following screen is introduced:

  • Receiving Operations – Search and review completed receiving operations using the Operation ID. View processing status, reconciliation details, successfully received items, items that could not be received, and validation errors. For more information, see Receiving Operations.

Monitor Receiving Operations with Reports and Dashboards

OPUS SOM Owners can access standard reports and dashboards for receiving operations. These reports provide scalable analytics and real-time visibility into receiving data. As receiving operations become more complex and data-driven, the reports and dashboards help stakeholders analyze transaction-level data and make informed business decisions.

Companies can create customized reports and dashboards, including tables and charts, to present the data that is most relevant to their business needs. By displaying only the information that aligns with business goals, organizations can make faster, data-driven decisions.

This release includes the following reports and dashboards:

  • Receiving Operation – Location Summary

  • Receiving Operation – User Activity

  • Receiving Operation – Scan Activity

  • Receiving Operation – Error Details

  • Receiving Operation – Error Summary

  • Receiving Operation – Session Details
