Overview

Select the Configure Company icon on the Applications screen for a Smart Inventory Tracker app where My Company's Role is Owner.

At the company level:
- Set configuration options (e.g. default selections for certain fields).
- Enable different functionality within Smart Inventory Tracker.
Smart Inventory Tracker Information

A
- Name – The name that the Owner assigns to their app.
- Owner – The company that owns the app.
- Description – The Owner's description of the app (displays as -- if the Owner did not enter a description).

Warehouse Operations

- company allows warehouse operators to aggregate to SSCC parent containers in the Manage Containers - Existing Container and New SSCC functions.
- Mixed Product / Mixed Lot – (default) Child serial numbers aggregated to an SSCC parent container can have different packaging codes or different lot numbers.
- Same Product / Mixed Lot – Child serial numbers aggregated to an SSCC parent container must have the same packaging code but can have different lot numbers.
- Same Product / Same Lot – Child serial numbers aggregated to an SSCC parent container must have the same packaging code and same lot number.
– Indicates the products and lots that the - company allows warehouse operators to create a new shipment in the Ship function if the delivery number does not exist in Serialized Operations Manager.
- Yes – If a warehouse operator enters a delivery number that does not exist in Serialized Operations Manager, Smart Inventory Tracker prompts the warehouse operator to enter the required delivery information, saves that information, and then sends the delivery to Serialized Operations Manager to be created.
- No – (default) If a warehouse operator enters a delivery number that does not exist in Serialized Operations Manager, Smart Inventory Tracker returns an error.

If partial delivery is enabled, the warehouse operators can receive serial numbers included in the partial receipt and perform further actions such as shipping product that includes the received serial numbers, without having to wait for each product in the shipment to arrive and submitting a receipt in SIT.
- Yes – Smart Inventory Tracker allows warehouse operators to receive product in a shipment without having physically received the entire shipment. Warehouse operators can choose either of these options:
- Save the delivery – Smart Inventory Tracker sets the to Available for the serial numbers received. The delivery is updated to an unsubmitted state.
- Complete the delivery – Smart Inventory Tracker sets the to Available for all the serial numbers in the delivery. The delivery is updated to a submitted state. Additional serial numbers are prevented from being received against the delivery number.
- No – (default) Smart Inventory Tracker requires Deliveries to be received in full before warehouse operators can submit a receipt.
– Indicates that the - Yes – Smart Inventory Tracker allows warehouse operators to receive product in a shipment without having physically received the entire shipment. Warehouse operators can choose either of these options:
- None – (default) No default displays.
- Available – The item is available for picking.
- Blocked – The item is unavailable for picking.
- Pending Receipt – The transfer of ownership is in an interim state because the shipment awaits receipt confirmation at the receiving location.
- Picked – There is an item reservation against a specific outbound delivery indicating item picking is complete.
- Received – There is an item reservation against a specific outbound delivery indicating items are received.
- Shipped – The transfer of ownership is in an interim state because the shipment is in transit to the receiving location.
- Under Investigation – The item is quarantined or in a holding state due to a product investigation. The serial number cannot be included in a sales shipment.

- Contract Manufacturer Buyback – A return sale back to the CMO.

- Customs Clearance Distribution – Product that is received into an importer’s warehouse after customs clearance.
- Customs Sale – Sale of product previously seized by a customs agency.
- Customs Zone Transfer – Product that is transferred between customs zones.
- Dental Practitioner Distribution – Distribution of product to a dental practitioner.
- Destruction Distribution – Return of product for company-initiated destruction.
- Donation – Distribution of product for donation.
- Emergency Medical Practitioner Distribution – Distribution of product to a paramedic or emergency medical practitioner.
- Exempted Dispenser – Suppliers mark a product as Dispensed before a dispenser receives it.
- Free of Charge Distribution – Free sales that are neither Donations nor Sample Distributions.
- Medical Care Distribution – Distribution of product for medical care.
- Medical Practitioner Distribution – Distribution of product to a doctor or other medical practitioner.
- Military Distribution – Distribution of product to the military.
- Optical Practitioner Distribution – Distribution of product to an optometrist or optician.
- Patient Distribution – Distribution of product to a patient.
- Pharmaceuticals Provider Distribution – Distribution of product to a provider.
- Prison Distribution – Distribution of product to a prison.
- Re-Export Distribution – Product that is produced in Country A, and then imported into and subsequently re-exported from Country B.
- Re-Export Embargo Distribution – Product that is produced in Country A, and then imported into and subsequently re-exported from Country B due to an embargo placed on the product.
- Re-Export Sanctions Distribution – Product that is produced in Country A, and then imported into and subsequently re-exported from Country B due to imposed sanctions.
- Research University Distribution – Distribution of product to a research institution (e.g. universities that perform research).
- Safety & Life Reserves Distribution – Distribution of product to a retail pharmacy.
- Sample Distribution – Distribution of product as free samples.
- School Distribution – Distribution of product to a school.
- Special Medical Care Distribution – Distribution of product to a nursing home or hospice.
- Veterinary Distribution – Distribution of product to a veterinarian or a veterinary retailer.
- Withdrawn Product Collection – Withdrawn goods are collected and returned to the Pharmaceutical Manufacturer.

Individual serial number templates must be made available for commissioning on the Printing Configuration for [Location Name] screen.
The serial number must be printed and then scanned to be commissioned. Manually entered serial numbers that have a of Encoded or do not exist in Serialized Operations Manager result in an error.
- No – (default) If a warehouse operator scans an SSCC or SGTIN parent container that has a of Encoded or does not exist in Serialized Operations Manager, Smart Inventory Tracker returns an error.

- company allows Smart Inventory Tracker to register serial numbers that are not found in the Serialized Operations Manager repository. Serial numbers can be registered in the Ship and Receive functions of Warehouse Operations.
- Allow With Master Data – If a warehouse operator enters a GTIN or NTIN serial number that is not already in SOM, TraceLink registers this serial number if the GTIN or NTIN is present in the company's product master data.
- Allow Without Master Data – If a warehouse operator enters a GTIN or NTIN serial number in a US target market that is not already in SOM, SOM searches for the packaging code in the company's product master data. If the packaging code is not present in MDX, SOM then searches for the NDC from the packaging code in IBM Micromedex® RED BOOK® or TraceLink's NDC database (which relies on data from the FDA), registers the serial number, and adds the GTIN or NTIN to the company's product master data. Serial numbers without existing master data entries can be registered only in the Receive function.
- Do Not Allow – (default) Smart Inventory Tracker returns an error if a warehouse operator enters a serial number that is not found in SOM.
The Register unknown SGTINs using NDC lookup results and add the GTINS to Product Master Data checkbox on the company's SOM Configure Published Service Settings screen must be selected to register serial numbers without master data.

The mobile app then finds all unsubmitted delivery numbers associated with that transaction ID or serial number for the warehouse operator to select from.

- Yes – Smart Inventory Tracker allows warehouse operators to receive products below the container level. If the received serial numbers are children that belong to a parent container on the receipt, those received child serial numbers are implicitly disaggregated from their parent container and marked as Available, while the others in the container, and the parent container itself, remain in the Pending Receipt Item Status.
- No – (default) Smart Inventory Tracker does not allow warehouse operators to receive products below the container level and prompted to receive using only the parent container.

- No – (default) Smart Inventory Tracker does not allow aggregation at the same packaging level and continues to check for a valid packaging level, packaging ratio, and packaging quantity.

- Yes – (default) For a parent serial number, Smart Inventory Tracker associates the parent and all its child serial numbers to the delivery. For a child serial number, Smart Inventory Tracker disaggregates the child from its parent and associates the serial number (and its children, if any) to the delivery.
- No – Smart Inventory Tracker does not associate the serial number that is used to search for a receipt.

- Yes – When warehouse operators enter an SSCC barcode in Ship or Undo Number Status with an of Shipped, TraceLink retrieves the lowest saleable units within the SSCC from Serialized Operations Manager or the Owner's external system of record (SOR) and reports those serial numbers with an asynchronous message.
- No – (default) Smart Inventory Tracker returns an error when a warehouse operator enters an SSCC barcode.
– Indicates whether the company allows Smart Inventory Tracker to retrieve all lowest saleable units when a warehouse operator enters a Serial Shipping Container Code (SSCC) in Event Reporting. - None (default)
