Inventory Adjustments Overview

The Inventory Adjustments message allows a CMO to inform the Pharmaceutical Manufacturer of adjustments made to the inventory balance of a specific product code and lot number along with the reason for adjustment. Inventory Adjustment supports a change in inventory quantities in the CMO's system that is communicated to the Pharmaceutical Manufacturer's system such as a reduction due to spoilage, a transfer of goods to and from QA, or a transfer of goods to and from any kind of blocked status.

This message uses the Park and Retry functionality. If a prerequisite condition for this message has not been met, TraceLink stops processing the task, returns the task to the queue, and then tries to process the task again every 15 minutes for up to 49 hours.
