Void Delivery

Select the Void Delivery button on the View Submitted Delivery screen.

Void a submitted outbound delivery. There are 2 methods of voiding:

• Void and permanently cancel the delivery (this cannot be undone).
• Void the delivery with the option to correct it in this session or in a later session.

Deliveries are normally voided due to a shipping error, or if the goods are damaged after the delivery is submitted.

• Reason - A list of pre-set reasons for the void.

• Order Cancelled? - Certain countries require a compliance report that notifies the government (and downstream Partners) when an order is cancelled. Select Yes and this triggers the notification:
  • Yes - order was cancelled
  • No - order was not cancelled

• Description - Text entry for additional information about the void event.

• Transaction Date - Indicates the void date. Defaults to the current date, in DDMMYYYY format.

1. Select a Reason from the drop-down.
2. Select the Transaction Date from the date picker.
3. Enter a Description in the text field.
4. Select an Order Cancelled? option form the radio buttons.

   The delivery cannot be Corrected if the Yes radio button is selected.

5. Select the Submit button.

   The Confirm Void dialog displays.

6. Select the Confirm button.

   The View Voided Delivery screen displays with the confirmation message "TraceLink is processing your request to void Delivery [Delivery Number]. Note that it may take several minutes to complete processing. You can send a corrective delivery by clicking the Correct Delivery button at the bottom of the screen." one of the following confirmation messages:

   • If Order Cancelled? is set to No: "TraceLink is voiding Delivery [Delivery Number]. See Info Exchange for its status. Submit a corrected delivery below."
   • If Order Cancelled? is set to Yes: "TraceLink is voiding Delivery [Delivery Number]. See Info Exchange for its status."

   TraceLink also sets the state of the serial numbers in the outbound delivery to "Commissioned – Available" in the original location from which the items were shipped. All associated aggregations remain.

Errors either display at the top of the screen or are found in Info Exchange (may vary):
