Configure US Compliance

Unlike other OPUS compliance apps, US Compliance must be configured on Track & Trace Services. Your company's current US Product Track Links are available in US Compliance on OPUS. Use ServiceLinks in Company Administration on Track & Trace Services to link new Partners to US Product Track, which also links those Partners to US Compliance on OPUS. See the Company Administration Online Help and Management Online Help for more information about configuring the app and linking Partners.

US Product Track has many app-specific fields to configure for both the app and its Links on Track & Trace Services. However, for US Compliance, your company only needs to configure the Transaction Statement field. See the Track & Trace Services Company Administration Online Help for more information.

Optionally, US Product Track in Track & Trace Services Company Administration can also be configured to include the Direct Purchase Statement, Received Direct Purchase Statement, or both on all serialized shipments sold to downstream supply chain Partners in the United States. A Direct Purchase Statement is included in a serialized shipment when the product is purchased directly from Pharmaceutical Manufacturer or Repackager. A Received Direct Purchase Statement is included in a serialized shipment when the Wholesale Distributor confirms that they received a Direct Purchase Statement for product that they purchased from the Pharmaceutical Manufacturer or Repackager. On Track & Trace Services

Some of the event triggers (i.e. event workflows on Track & Trace Services) for US Compliance, that happen in Serialized Operations Manager, are still set in Track & Trace Services Company Administration. Make sure one of the following event triggers are enabled:

Product Shipped - Sale Generate Shipment EPCIS Message US Product Track TraceLink generates a message to the Product Track Service to create the EPCIS Shipment message containing the commissioning, aggregation and shipment EPCIS events for the serialized items associated with the shipment. This message will be generated after TraceLink has processed the receipt of a Sales Shipment message from Serialized Operations Manager for outbound deliveries that have a Ship To Country Code set to US.

ESM Product Shipped - Sale

 Generate Shipment EPCIS Message US Product Track TraceLink generates an EPCIS Shipment message containing the commissioning, aggregation and shipment EPCIS events for the serialized items associated with the shipment. This message will be generated after TraceLink has processed the receipt of an ESM Shipment Event message from Serialized Operations Manager for outbound deliveries that have a Ship To Country Code set to US.
Void Shipment - Sale Send SOM Void Shipment Message US Compliance TraceLink sends the SOM Void Shipment message where the Sales Distribution Type is an In Country Sale or Export Sale and the Ship To Country is set to US or its territories.
ESM Void Shipment - Sale Send SOM ESM Void Shipment Message US Compliance TraceLink sends the SOM ESM Void Shipment message where the Sales Distribution Type is an In Country Sale or Export Sale and the Ship To Country is set to US or its territories.
Void Receipt - Sale Send SOM Void Receipt Message US Compliance TraceLink sends the SOM Void Receipt message where the Sales Distribution Type is an In Country Sale or Export Sale and the Ship To Country is set to US or its territories.
ESM Void Receipt - Sale Send SOM ESM Void Receipt Message US Compliance TraceLink sends the SOM ESM Void Receipt message where the Sales Distribution Type is an In Country Sale or Export Sale and the Ship To Country is set to US or its territories.

On OPUS

The event triggers (i.e. workflow subscriptions) for US Compliance, that happen in OPUS, can be set in Administer.

US Product Track T2 Generated Generate Shipment Notices for Indirect Trade Partners Tracelink generates and sends a shipment notice to Product Information Manager to enable indirect trade partners access to the shipment notice, if the Enabled switch is set to Yes for this workflow subscription.
US Product Track T2 Generated Generate Shipment Notices for Direct Trade Partners Not Linked to US Compliance Tracelink generates and sends a shipment notice to Product Information Manager to enable access for direct trade partners who are not linked to US Compliance to access the shipment notice, if the Enabled switch is set to Yes for this workflow subscription.

Assign US Compliance roles

Your company can add users to US Compliance and assign them roles on OPUS. See the Administer Help Center for more information.

  • Application Administrator – Allows users to view, filter, and export both deliveries and T2 documents, as well as administer the US Compliance app on OPUS by adding users and assigning roles to them.
  • Member - Expanded Access – Allows users to view, filter, and export both deliveries and T2 documents.
  • Member - Standard Deliveries Access – Allows users to view, filter, and export deliveries.
  • Member - Standard T2 Documents Access – Allows users to view, filter, and export T2 documents.
  • Member - Classic Access – Allows users to access the classic Track & Trace Services (TTS) US Product Track screens through OPUS.
  • Member - Standard Recalls Access – Allows users to view, filter, and export deliveries impacted by recalls.

Set up notifications

All US Compliance users can sign up to receive in-app and email notifications based on certain events. See the OPUS Help Center for more information.

  • T2 to CSV Download Complete – The user receives a notification when an exported T2 document is ready for download.
  • File Exports – The user receives a notification when a file export is complete.
