API features

The following new or updated API functionality is included in this release.

Item APIs

Companies that own or link to Process Orchestration for Empowered Teams can use Item APIs for situations where two companies collaborate on a shared task without a specific due date or deadline, such as tracking the supply of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) by an API manufacturer. Item APIs provide the same functions that can be performed in Process Orchestration for Empowered Teams UI. The following APIs are available for Items:

Add Item: Owners and Partners of Process Orchestration for Empowered Teams can use the Add Item API to create a new item.
Edit Item: Owners and Partners of Process Orchestration for Empowered Teams can use the Edit Item API to edit or modify an existing item.
Search Item: Owners and Partners of Process Orchestration for Empowered Teams can use the Search Item API to search for an existing item.
Delete Item: Owners and Partners of Process Orchestration for Empowered Teams can use the Delete Item API to delete an existing item.
Follow Item: Owners and Partners of Process Orchestration for Empowered Teams can use the Follow Item API to start following an item.
Unfollow Item: Owners and Partners of Process Orchestration for Empowered Teams can use the Unfollow Item API to stop following an item.
View Item: Owners and Partners of Process Orchestration for Empowered Teams can use the View Item API to view an item.

Work Item APIs

Companies that own or link to Process Orchestration for Empowered Teams Companies can use work item APIs to complete a shared task within a strict deadline, such as manufacturing, quality control, packaging, and distribution of life-saving medication. Work Item APIs provide the same functions that can be performed in Process Orchestration for Empowered Teams UI. The following APIs are available for Work Items:

Add Work Item: Owners and Partners of Process Orchestration for Empowered Teams can use the Add Work item API to create a new work item.
Edit Work Item: Owners and Partners of Process Orchestration for Empowered Teams can use the Edit Work item API to edit or modify an existing work item.
Search Work Item: Owners and Partners of Process Orchestration for Empowered Teams can use the Search Work item API to search for an existing work item.
Delete Work Item: Owners and Partners of Process Orchestration for Empowered Teams can use the Delete Work item API to delete a work item.
Follow Work Item: Owners and Partners of Process Orchestration for Empowered Teams can use the Follow Work item API to start following an work item.

TL-58607: Items or Work Items Cannot be Assigned to an Owner or Partner Company Location	API	The Owner company cannot assign a Item or Work Item to either their own internal location or to a Partner company's location. Item and Work Item can currently be assigned to the Partner Company headquarters as set up in the Master Data.
