Introduction of EdgeLink Intelligence: TraceLink's Next Generation Data Visualization Product for Warehouse and Logistics Operations

This release introduces EdgeLink Intelligence, which is a reporting and analytics product that provides visibility into scan activity and operational performance across supply chain workflows. The application consolidates scan events captured through Smart Inventory Tracker (SIT) and presents them as structured insights. These insights help monitor execution, track performance, and review operations.

Using scan-based data, EdgeLink Intelligence helps analyze activity levels, progress, and accuracy across warehouse and logistics operations. The following are sample use cases:

  • Review scan volumes to support billing

  • Track productivity using scan rates

  • Validate receipt accuracy by comparing expected and actual scans

  • Monitor completion progress for deliveries or receipts

The application also improves traceability and audit readiness by displaying packaging hierarchies and operational exceptions.

Monitor Warehouse Operations

Report Users can use EdgeLink Intelligence to access structured reports and dashboards based on SIT scan data. Each view organizes scan events into scenario-specific insights that support key warehouse and logistics operations.

The reports provide consistent visibility into:

  • Warehouse operations

  • Outbound delivery processes

  • Inbound receipt processes

  • Reserialization and relabel activities

Each report supports a specific operational or business need using scan-based metrics. This reduces the need for manual reconciliation and improves accuracy in execution monitoring.

As part of this feature, the following reports and dashboards are introduced:

  • Warehouse Operations - Operational Report and Dashboard – Provides insights into the average number of scans performed by warehouse operators per hour or day to help monitor and compare productivity across locations.

  • Delivery - Scan Volume Report and Dashboard – Displays the total number of scans recorded at each packaging level for outbound shipments to support accurate billing, invoicing, and performance analysis.

  • Delivery - Container Hierarchy Report and Dashboard – Shows the complete container hierarchy built for each outbound shipment to help verify delivery accuracy and ensure alignment with billing data.

  • Delivery - Progress KPI Report and Dashboard – Presents the latest shipment progress by showing the percentage of items picked versus pending to help track outbound delivery completion and resource utilization.

  • Receipt - Scan Accuracy Report and Dashboard – Compares expected versus actual scans performed during inbound receiving to help ensure accuracy in quantity validation and adherence to defined receiving standards.

  • Receipt - SLA Performance Report and Dashboard – Measures the total time taken to complete inbound receiving operations to help assess adherence to internal SLAs and improve overall process efficiency.

  • Receipt - Exception Summary Report and Dashboard – Summarizes exceptions raised during inbound deliveries by type, ID, and supplier to support supplier evaluation and quality improvement efforts.

  • Receipt - Progress KPI Report and Dashboard – Presents the latest receiving progress by showing the percentage of items received versus pending to help track inbound delivery completion and resource utilization.

  • Reserialization - Packaging Hierarchy Report and Dashboard – Lists all child serial numbers transferred between pallets during reserialization to maintain accurate packaging hierarchies and audit traceability.

  • Relabel - Packaging Hierarchy Report and Dashboard – Lists all child serial numbers transferred between pallets during relabel to maintain accurate packaging hierarchies and audit traceability.
