Notification of Withdrawal from Circulation Report

Importers, Manufacturers/MAHs and Wholesale distributors can now generate the Notification of Withdrawal from Circulation report. The report decommissions or destroys serialized pharmaceutical products and notifies the IS CEDM system of their withdrawal from circulation. Reasons for withdrawal include defects, damage, destruction, loss, sampling, confiscation, security forces, medical purposes, own needs, or other applicable reasons.

Kazakhstan Compliance generates the Notification of Withdrawal from Circulation report when TraceLink processes a SOM Decommission or SOM Destroy event, and the following conditions are met in the interface where the event occurred:

  • The products have a Target Market of Kazakhstan.
  • The products have a Packaging Code Type of GTIN-14 with a Packaging UOM (unit of measure) of Each.
  • In Product Master Data, the serialized item is associated with an Item Code that has a Target Market of Kazakhstan.
  • In Serialized Operations Manager, the Destruction Method is not set.

Generate the report

To generate the Notification of Withdrawal from Circulation report automatically, enable the appropriate event triggers and ensure that the relevant event trigger conditions are met in Master Data Exchange. When configured, Kazakhstan Compliance generates the Notification of Withdrawal from Circulation report automatically when Tracelink processes a decommission or destruction workflow event in one of the following interfaces:

Decommission

  1. In Track & Trace Services, hover over Modules, and then select Serialized Operations Manager.
  2. Expand the Status Update drop-down and then select Decommission Serial Numbers.
  3. Select the location that provisioned the serial numbers from the Show Data From drop-down in the upper right.
  4. Complete the fields required for the report as follows:

Use the Kazakhstan Compliance Web UI to manually generate the Notification of Withdrawal from Circulation report. This option is useful if a report fails to generate automatically, and the information must be submitted to the Information System Center for Electronic Documentation of Labeled Goods (IS CEDM). This action can be performed only after the Country Clearance event is initially triggered in Track & Track Services (TTS).

  1. Select the Main Menu icon.
  2. Select Kazakhstan Compliance from the main menu.

    A new tab opens and displays information for the Kazakhstan Compliance app.

  3. Select the Generate Report icon.
  4. Select Specify Serial Numbers. The serial numbers should be the same that were used to trigger decommission or destroy events in Serialized Operations Manager. Fill in the following fields:
    • Report Type drop-down – Required. Select Notification of Withdrawal from Circulation as the Report Type.

    • Enter the Serial Numbers in the text field.

      or

    • Scan the Serial Numbers in the text field with an external scanner.

    NOTE: Include only each level serial numbers in the event. In case a parent level serial number is included, only the eaches for that parent are reported.

  5. Select Generate.

    The panel closes, and TraceLink begins generating the report. Filter to find the new report.
