UI Features

The following new or updated functionality will be included in this release.

Enable the Ability to Administer Networks

This feature enables System Administrators and Application Administrators to use the new Networks experience task to administer networks. A network is comprised of a multienterprise app Owner and their linked Partners and internal locations that use the multienterprise app to meet a shared business goal and allows users to administer networks for enterprise apps and single-network-only apps (e.g. US Compliance). Owners can add networks only for apps that support multiple networks (e.g. Agile Process Teams, Multienterprise Process Connect). For example, a Pharmaceutical Manufacturer that owns Agile Process Teams might choose to add two networks, each for a different part of their business. The Application Administrator must add a new network for the app, add a user directly to the network, and assign the Application Administrator role to that user.

Previously, after Linking a Partner to a network, System Administrators or Application Administrators had to assign a specific role to a Link. In this release, the list of roles automatically includes the Application Administrator role. With the appropriate role, the Partner user's can access the networks and manage users on the Links.

In addition to the new Networks experience task, this release also includes changes to the Links, and Users experience tasks, which enables user to administer networks, Links, and users in an Opus or classic tab. The classic tab includes Track & Trace Services (TTS) networks.

Networks – System Administrators and Application Administrators can now filter and view a list of Opus or classic (TTS) networks for enterprise or multienterprise apps that their company owns or is a Partner in. Some apps (e.g. US Compliance) only support one network, while others (e.g. Agile Process Teams, Multienterprise Process Connect) support the explicit creation of multiple networks. Application Administrators only have access and the ability to configure networks that they are assigned the Application Administration role for and that a company has licensed. System Administrators and Application Administrators can perform the following actions depending on the network type:

  • Opus Networks – System Administrators and Application Administrators can add a network to a multi network application (e.g. Agile Process Teams), or view Links and users to a network.
  • Classic Networks – System Administrators and Application Administrators can view Links and users for a network.

Links – System Administrators and Application Administrators can filter a list of Opus and classic (TTS) Links that a company owns or is a Partner in. System Administrators and Application Administrators can perform the following actions depending on the Link type:

  • Opus Links – Owners can create a Link with Partners, and remove a Link.
  • Classic Links – Owners can create a classic Link with Partners, and remove a Link.
  • Failed Links – System Administrators and Application Administrators can resubmit failed Links produced by an asynchronous message.

Users – System Administrators and Application Administrators can filter and view users with memberships to a Opus network or users with memberships to the TTS network. System Administrators can also view a list of their company users (i.e. users with company memberships) and Partner users who have been added to their networks or Links. System Administrators and Application Administrators can perform the following actions depending on the type of network the user is a part of:

  • Users in Opus Networks – System Administrators and Application Administrators can assign users to a network, or remove users from a network. Owners can view all users in the Opus network. Partners can only view their users.
  • Users in Classic Networks – System Administrators and Application Administrators can assign users to a classic network or remove users from a classic network. Owners can view all users in the classic network. Partners can only view their users.
  • My Company Users – System Administrators can add a new user to their company and assign a System Administration or Application Administration role to a user. System Administrators can also assign a user to a specific network or manage their accounts (e.g. activate or deactivate a user, unlock a user's account).

Set Workflow Subscriptions through the Admin UI

This feature allows a System Administrator or Application Administrator to enable or disable workflow subscriptions from a new Set Workflow Subscriptions on the [Networks Name] name screen for an object type to determine if they want an action triggered for a specific network.

System Administrators and Application Administrators can filter for the Source Application and Source Event when setting workflow subscriptions. The workflow subscriptions are within the netowrk that is the recipient of the resulting action triggered by the event (i.e. the Recipient Application).

For example, if a compliance app triggers a report off an export sale, a System Administrator or Application Administrator can enable the workflow subscription for ShipmentExportSaleV2 (The internal names of the workflows are displayed in this version.).

  • Source Application – The app where the event that triggers the resulting action takes place.
  • Source Event – The event name.
