Set Partner Properties

Overview

Select Set Display Name in the Actions column for any row with an Entity Type of Company on the Manage Partners screen.

Provide information to help others identify the Partner company:

  • Enter a name for the Partner that others can recognize.
  • Specify whether the Partner is an entity within the company (internal) or belongs to a different company (external).

Partner Info

  • Company Name – The company's name.
  • Industry – The company's industry.
  • Primary Business – The company's primary business segment within the Industry.

Partner Properties

  • Partner Type – Indicates whether the company or location is internal or external.
    • External – The partner company represents a separate organization from the company.
    • Internal – The partner company represents an entity within the company.
  • Display Name – The name displayed in the ServiceLink applications' user interface. If left blank, the partner's Company Name in the TraceLink Network displays instead.

Available Actions

  1. Enter a Display Name in the text field.
  2. Select a Partner Type radio button.
  3. Select Save.

    The Manage Partners screen displays.
