View Replenishment History

Select the View Replenishment History link in the Actions column for any row on the View Serial Number Templates screen with a Template Type of Auto-Replenished.

• View details about a serial number template created in an external Serial Number Management System, and search the events that have replenished serial numbers for this template..

  Serial numbers are replenished when the amount of serial numbers in the repository falls below the Minimum Threshold for a serial number template and additional serial numbers are needed from an external Serial Number Management System to replenish the quantity of serial number in the repository. TraceLink automatically sends a replenishment request to the Serial Number Manager Partner specified in the template.

• Request replenishment of serial numbers from an external Serial Number Management System.

• Packaging Code - Packaging codes are numeric values that correspond to the packaging of a particular product (e.g. bottle of 100, blister-pack of 25, etc.). Displays the Packaging Code of the template. If Nordic/National Trade Item Number. (NTIN) is selected, this is a type-ahead field that shows NTIN packaging codes from Master Data (existing codes do not appear).

• Assign Serial Numbers to - Choose a packaging location that uses the serial numbers:

  • General Pool - (default) Templates for the General Pool, containing serial numbers that can be exchanged with multiple packaging locations.
    • Use Crypto Codes - Select if serial numbers must include crypto codes (i.e. encrypted identification numbers) generated by Kazakhstan's, Russia's, Russia BAFS's, or Uzbekistan's Order Management System (OMS). Displays only if the company owns the Kazakhstan Crypto Codes, Russia Crypto Codes, Russia BAFS Crypto Codes, or Uzbekistan Crypto Codes application, the Packaging Code Type is GTIN-14, and the Packaging Code has a Target Market of Kazakhstan, Russia, or Uzbekistan in Product Master Data.

      Use Crypto Codes can be selected only if the Kazakhstan Target Market, Russia Target Market for Food Supplement products, or Uzbekistan Target Market has a Production Type of Imported in Product Master Data. A location can Use Crypto Codes for either an Imported or Locally Manufactured product, but not both for Russia pharmaceutical products.

  • [Location Name] - Serial numbers generated for a specific location. Only packaging locations that are Partners in Serial Number Exchange display in the drop-down menu.
    • Use Site Prefix - For packaging locations with a site prefix in Serial Number Exchange, select to use the site prefix for that location.

    Use Crypto Codes can be selected only if the Kazakhstan Target Market, Russia Target Market for Food Supplement products, or Uzbekistan Target Market has a Production Type of Imported in Product Master Data. A location can Use Crypto Codes for either an Imported or Locally Manufactured product, but not both for Russia pharmaceutical products.

    If Use Crypto Codes is selected, serial numbers provisioned through the template become available to locations (i.e. enter the Unreserved state) only after TraceLink receives their associated crypto codes.

  External Serial Number Manager Will Push Numbers Without a Request must be selected to successfully receive serial numbers containing crypto code and crypto key information that have been manually retrieved from the Kazakhstan, Russia, Russia BAFS, or Uzbekistan Order Management Systems.

• Encoding Type - The encoding type options are one of the following:

  • AI(01)+AI(21) - A 14-digit Global Trade Item Number that identifies a shipping container. GTIN-14 serial number (14 digits) or a 20-digit serial number.
  • AI(00) - A 14-digit Global Trade Item Number that identifies a shipping container. The Serial Shipping Container Code (SSCC) serial number is 18 digits long.
  • CN-EDMC - An Electronic Drug-Monitoring Code (20-digit serial number) for China.
• Quantity Currently Available - Quantity of serial numbers currently available in the template.

• Description - A written description of the Packaging Code. Displays one of the following:

  • Packaging Codes with descriptions in user's default language display.
  • Packaging Codes with English descriptions display for users who have not set a default language.
  • Packaging Codes without English descriptions display the written description from the first language code (in alphabetical order) in that language. For example, if the first language code in Master Data is Spanish, the written description displays in Spanish.

• Packaging Code attributes - These attributes contain additional information relating to the serial numbers. The attributes vary according to the packaging code.

  • For GTIN-14, the (GS1) Company Prefix and Filter Value display on 2 lines.
  • For NTIN, dashes (--) display.
  • For GS1 Company Prefix, the Filter Value and Extension Digit display on 2 lines.
  • For CN-ResCode, the CN-Subtype and Code Version display on 2 lines.

• Request Information - Format depends on the template that is formatting the serial numbers.
  • Request From - Displays the Partner requesting serial numbers [Serial Number Manager Partner].
  • Notify After - Number of hours to wait for a response regarding the replenishment request. Automatic notifications occur when this interval passes without response. [Hours] Hours.
  • Minimum - Maximum Thresholds: [Min Threshold] - [Max Threshold].

• Last Updated On Or After - Retrieves reports occurring on or after this date. Defaults to 30 days before the current date.
• Last Updated On Or Before - Retrieves reports occurring on or before this date. Defaults to the current date.

• Status - Indicates one of the following responses:
  • Pending - If response note was received.
  • Request Denied - External system rejects request (ie. for invalid credentials).
  • Validating - Displays while Serial Number Manager processes and validates the numbers.
  • Imported - Import of some requested serial numbers not successful.
  • Imported - Import of all serial numbers successful.
• Request ID - Correlates asynchronous serial number requests and responses.
  • For synchronous requests, this is blank.
  • For asynchronous requests pushed to TraceLink from external systems (without previous TraceLink requests) this is blank.

• Quantity Requested - Amount of serial numbers in the request.

• Quantity Received - Amount of serial numbers in the receipt.

• Quantity Added - Amount of serial numbers that Serial Number Manager successfully imports.

• Quantity Rejected - Amount of serial numbers that Serial Number Manager rejects. Appears as a link with the following hover message:

  • "Detected the following [number] duplicate serial numbers that were omitted from the import: [comma separated list of duplicate numbers]."
  • If more than 10 serial numbers are duplicates, only the first 10 appear.

• Request Date - The request date and one of the following:

  • Info Exchange (for system requests).

  • User First Name followed by User Last name via Info Exchange (for user requests).

• Response Date - The response date and one of the following:

  • Info Exchange (for system requests).

  • User First Name followed by User Last name via Info Exchange (for user requests).

• Last Updated - Date of the latest message update and one of the following:

  • Web Service (for system requests through a web service).
  • User First Name followed by User Last name via Info Exchange (for user requests).

1. Select the Last Updated on or After from the date picker.
2. Select the Last Updated on or Before from the date picker.

3. Select the Search button.

   The results display in the table.

• Select the Request Replenishment button.

  Enabled if the Quantity Currently Available value is less than the Min Threshold value.

  • Serial Number Manager requests more serial numbers from the Partner.

  • The following confirmation message displays: "A request for ([Max Threshold] - [Qty Currently Available] serial number has been sent to the serial number manager system. This request could take several hours - check back later to see if a response has been received."
  • The button is disabled.
  • The request displays in the table.
