OMS Foreign Utilisation and 915 - Multi Pack

Looking for the 321 - Foreign Emission report?

Russia Compliance Owners generate the following report types when manufacturing product outside of Russia:

  • OMS Foreign Utilisation – Captures information about serialized items that are manufactured in a country other than Russia before being imported to Russia for distribution. The Russia Compliance application sends this report to the CRPT OMS, which then uploads the information to MDLP as a 10319 - Foreign Emission report.

  • 915 - Multi Pack – Captures the aggregation hierarchy of serialized items reported in an OMS Foreign Utilisation or OMS Domestic Utilisation report. One 915 - Multi Pack report is generated for each level of aggregation (e.g. one report is generated for pallet to case and a second report is generated for case to each).

Configuring the reports

  1. Hover over Company Administration on the User Profile drop-down in the top right of any screen, and then select Workflow.
  2. Select the Generate OMS Foreign Utilisation and 915 - Multi Pack Reports Resulting Actions checkbox for the Product Status Set to Released workflow Event if manufacturing product or using a non TraceLink CMO to manufacture product.

    or

    Select the Generate OMS Foreign Utilisation and 915 - Multi Pack Reports Resulting Actions checkbox for the Received Product Released Event workflow Event if using a TraceLink CMO to manufacture product.

    MDLP credentials must be configured in Company Administration for this workflow to succeed.
  3. Select Save in the top left of the screen, above the results table.

    The screen refreshes, and the workflow is enabled.

The Russia Compliance application generates the OMS Foreign Utilisation and 915 - Multi Pack reports when TraceLink processes either a Product Status Set to Released or Received Product Released Event event and the following conditions are met in the interface where the event occurred:

  • The Owner of the Russia Compliance application also owns the Russia Crypto Codes application and has OMS credentials configured in Company Administration. If OMS credentials are invalid or missing, the Russia Compliance application generates only the 915 - Multi Pack report from this event.
  • The Owner of the Russia Compliance application is listed as the product's MAH in Product Master Data.
  • The products have a Packaging Code Type of GTIN-14 with a Packaging UOM (unit of measure) of Each.
  • The products have a Target Market of Russia.
  • The commission location is a country other than Russia.
  • The Owner of the Russia Compliance application also owns the Russia Crypto Codes application and has OMS credentials configured in Company Administration. If OMS credentials are invalid or missing, the Russia Compliance application generates only the 915 - Multi Pack report from this event.
  • The Owner of the Russia Compliance application is listed as the product's MAH in Product Master Data.
  • In Product Master Data, the products must:
    • Have a PackagingCodeType of GTIN-14 with a PackagingUOM (unit of measure) of each.
    • Have a TargetMarket of RU.
  • The commission location is Russia.

Use the following message to generate the OMS Foreign Utilisation and 915 - Multi Pack reports:

Use the following message to generate the OMS Foreign Utilisation and 915 - Multi Pack reports:

To successfully accept the 915 - Multi Pack report, MDLP must first accept the OMS Foreign Utilisation report, which TraceLink submits to the OMS and the OMS then submits to MDLP. After generating the OMS Foreign Utilisation report, TraceLink queries MDLP to verify that the report is successfully accepted before submitting the 915 - Multi Pack report.

Generating the reports

  1. Hover over Modules, and then select Serialized Operations Manager.
  2. Expand the Status Update Functions drop-down, and then select Set Product Release Status.
  3. Select the manufacturing location that provisioned the serial numbers from the Show Data From drop-down in the upper right.
  4. Enter the product's GTIN in the Item Code field.
  5. Enter the Lot Number associated with the GTIN, which identifies the serial numbers to be released.
  6. Enter the identifier of the company or location testing the quality of the product in the Quality Control Entity field, as entered in Product Master Data.
  7. Specify a conformity document for the product:
    1. Select Add Another in the Transaction IDs table header.

    2. Specify a quality inspection document from the Identifier Type drop-down, which is used to certify that the product conforms to Russian legal, safety, and quality requirements.

    3. Enter the Identifier Value of the quality inspection document.
    4. Enter the Document Date printed on the quality inspection document.
  8. Select Submit.

    The screen refreshes, and TraceLink begins processing the product release. A notification displays at the top of the screen when the product release completes.

Compliance report details

  • Report Date – The date and time that the report generated.
  • Report Type – OMS Foreign Utilisation.
  • OMS ID – The value that CRPT uses to identify the company or location.
  • Manufacturer Name – The name of the MAH, sourced from Company Master Data (this information displays but is not reported).
  • Packaging Organization ID – The identifier of the company or location that commissioned the serial numbers.
  • Packaging Organization Name – The name of the company or location that commissioned the serial numbers, sourced from Company or Partner Master Data (this information displays but is not reported).
  • Quality Control Organization ID – The identifier of the company or location that completed the quality testing or product release.
  • Quality Control Organization Name – The name of the company or location that completed the quality testing or product release, sourced from Company or Partner Master Data (this information displays but is not reported).
  • Packaging Code – The GTIN associated with the serialized items.
  • Description – Description of the product, sourced from Product Master Data (this information displays, but is not reported).
  • Usage Type – Displays as Verified.
  • Lot Number – The lot or batch number associated with the serial numbers in the report.
  • Expiration Date – The expiration date of the serialized items in the lot.
  • Quantity – The quantity of serial numbers in the report.
  • Report Date – The date and time that the report generated.
  • Report Type – 915 - Multi Pack.
  • Packaging Organization ID – The identifier of the company or location that packaged the product.
  • Packaging Organization Name – The name of the company or location that packaged the product, sourced from Company or Partner Master Data (this information displays but is not reported).
  • Aggregation Date – The date that the items are aggregated.
  • Response Received – The date and time that TraceLink received a response message from MDLP.
  • Response Type – The response code from MDLP.
  • Status – The status of the report with MDLP.
  • Error Code – The error code returned by MDLP, if applicable.
  • Error Description – The description of the associated Error Code.
