How-Tos

1. Fill in one or more of the following search fields on the Search Compliance Reports screen:
   • Service Publisher - The Owner responsible for sending the reports to the India Government.
   • Company - Location - The Owner's location (optional).
   • Report Type - The type of compliance report (optional), indicated by the following options:

     The Report Type selection determines the fields in Advanced Options. See Advanced Options below for details.

     • Product - Reports that capture new or updated product master data entries where the Export From Country is India.
     • Product Master Data (DAVA) - Reports that specify that the Product Master Data for a product is created or changed.
     • All Transactional (DAVA) - All transactional reports.
     • Batch Preproduction (DAVA) - Reports that specify that a Batch status is set to Active.
     • Production (DAVA) - Reports that specify that a product has been transferred.
     • Batch Preproduction Withdrawal (DAVA) - Reports that specify that a Batch status has changed from Active to Withdrawn.
     • Export Tertiary Packaging - Reports that capture items exported from India as a sale or transfer.
   • Report Status - The status of the compliance report (optional).
   • Date Type - Filters results by report date (optional).
   • Date On Or After - Displays reports that occurred on or after the date specified (optional).
   • Date On Or Before - Only displays reports that occurred on or before the date specified (optional).
   • Advanced Options - In addition to the fields above, refine results further using the following fields (optional):
     • The following fields display if the Report Type is Product:
       • Manufacturer Code - The 3-digit code assigned by the Indian government.
       • Premise Code - The 2-digit code assigned by the Indian government.
       • Packaging Code - The each-level packaging code for the serial numbers.
     • The following fields display if the Report Type is Export Tertiary Packaging:
       • Delivery Number - The number that uniquely identifies the shipment.
       • Manufacturer Code - The 3-digit code assigned by the Indian government.
       • Premise Code - The 2-digit code assigned by the Indian government.
     • The following fields display if the Report Type is Product Master Data (DAVA):
       • Product Code - The product's unique item code. Products require an item code type for every Target Market.
       • Business Identifier - The company or location's India business identifier (e.g. IN-PAN, IN-IEC, IN-TIN, GS1 Global Company Prefix).

     • The following fields display if the Report Type is All Transactional (DAVA), Batch Preproduction (DAVA), Production (DAVA), or Batch Preproduction Withdrawal (DAVA):

       • Product Code - The product's unique item code. Products require an item code type for every Target Market.
       • Serial Number - The number assigned to the container. This must be in AI(00) SSCC code format.
       • Business Identifier - The company or location's India business identifier (e.g. IN-PAN, IN-IEC, IN-TIN, GS1 Global Company Prefix).

         or

       • Keywords - Returns results to reports that contain the entered Keywords in the Lot Number, Ship From Party, or Ship To Party fields.

2. Select the Search button.

   Results of Search Compliance Reports display in a table on this screen.

• Select Export Results to CSV to download a copy of the results table as a CSV file.

Enabling event workflows allows an Administrator to update the settings that prompt automatic actions in response to various events within TraceLink.

1. Hover over Company Administration on the User Profile drop-down in the top right of any screen, and then select Workflow.

   The Manage Workflow screen displays.

2. Search for the workflow to enable.
3. Select the Resulting Actions checkbox in the table for each Event to enable.
4. Select the Save button.

   The screen reloads, and the message "Workflow settings have been updated." confirmation displays at the top.

Generate the Tertiary Packaging Report for product sent to markets that do not require a shipment's aggregation information be reported.

1. Select the Create Exempted Tertiary Report button on the Search Compliance Reports screen.

   The Generate Exempted Tertiary Report screen displays.

2. Enter the name or identifier of the location from which the product is departing in the Ship From Location field.
3. Enter the name or identifier of the company that currently owns the product in the From Business field.
4. Enter the shipment's E-Way Bill No. (optional).
5. Select the date printed on the E-Way Bill document from the Bill Date picker (optional).
6. Enter the country that the goods are shipped from in the Country of Exp. field (optional).
7. Enter the name of the port where the shipment leaves the ship from country in the Exit Port field (optional).
8. Enter the name of the port where the shipment enters the ship to country in the Entry Port field (optional).
9. Select the purpose of the shipment from the Supply Type drop-down (optional):
   Supply Type Options

   • Agency Ordered Destruction – Return of a product for destruction as ordered by a government agency.
   • Civil Protection Emergency Distribution – Distributing product to authorized parties (e.g. police) for civil protection and disaster control.
   • Clinical Trial – The product is part of a clinical trial.
   • Collection – Return of recalled product.
   • Contract Manufacturer Buyback – A return sale back to the contract manufacturer.
   • Court Ordered Destruction – Return of product for court-ordered destruction.
   • Customs Clearance Distribution – Product that is received into an importer’s warehouse after customs clearance.
   • Customs Sale – Sale of product previously seized by a customs agency.
   • Customs Zone Transfer – Product that is transferred between customs zones.
   • Dental Practitioner Distribution – Distributing product to a dental practitioner.
   • Destruction – Return of product for company-initiated destruction.
   • Donation – Distributing product for donation.
   • Emergency Medical Practitioner Distribution – Distributing product to a paramedic or emergency medical practitioner.
   • Exempted Dispenser – Suppliers mark a product as Dispensed before a dispenser receives it.
   • Free of Charge Distribution – Free sales that are neither Donations nor Sample Distributions.
   • Medical Care Distribution – Distributing product for medical care.
   • Medical Practitioner Distribution – Distributing product to a doctor or other medical practitioner.
   • Military Distribution – Distributing product to the military.
   • Optical Practitioner Distribution – Distributing product to an optometrist or optician.
   • Patient Distribution – Distributing product to a patient.
   • Prison Distribution – Distributing product to a prison.
   • Pharmaceuticals Provider Distribution – Distributing product to a provider.
   • Re-Export – Product that is produced in Country A, and then imported into and subsequently re-exported from Country B.
   • Re-Export Embargo – Product that is produced in Country A, and then imported into and subsequently re-exported from Country B due to an embargo placed on a product.
   • Re-Export Sanctions – Product that is produced in Country A, and then imported into and subsequently re-exported from Country B due to imposed sanctions.
   • Research University Distribution – Distributing product to a research institution (e.g. universities that perform research).
   • Safety & Life Reserves Distribution – Distributing product to a retail pharmacy.
   • Sample Distribution – Distributing product as free samples.
   • School Distribution – Distributing product to a school.
   • Special Medical Care Distribution – Distributing product to a nursing home or hospice.
   • Veterinary Distribution – Distributing product to a veterinarian or a veterinary retailer.
   • Withdrawn Product Collection – Withdrawn goods are collected and returned to the manufacturer.
10. Enter the business transaction identifier and type in the Transaction IDs table (optional):

    1. Select the Add Another link in the table header.

    2. Select an Identifier Type from the drop-down.

    3. Enter an Identifier Value in the text field.

    4. Select the Document Date that is printed on the corresponding transaction document from the date picker.
11. Enter the SSCCs and lot numbers associated with the shipment in the SSCC table:
    1. Select Add SSCC.
    2. Enter the identifying number of the SSCC associated with the shipment.
    3. Enter the unique Packaging Code that identifies the each level products contained in the SSCC. Format is [Product Code Type] [Product Code Value].
    4. Enter the Lot Number of the product that the SSCC code is associated with.
    5. Select the date that all serial numbers in the lot expire from the Expiry Date date picker.
    6. Select the Add More Products link to add an additional product associated with the SSCC (optional).
12. Select the Submit button.

    The screen reloads, and the message "The generation of the India Exempted Tertiary Report has been initiated. Check the India Compliance Application for the report, where it will appear when it is completed. If an error occurs in processing, it will be visible in Info Exchange." displays at the top.
