Search Compliance Reports

As of 21 Feb 2021, India Compliance supports only reports intended for India's new iVEDA portal. Reports intended for the discontinued DAVA portal no longer generate but remain in the Web UI for historical purposes.

Overview

Select Modules > Compliance > India from the top menu.

  • Search reports that TraceLink has generated, and access details for a specific report.

    TraceLink generates reports when certain events occur or when a user initiates the report manually in Serialized Operations Manager. Reports capture information about regulated activities, helping companies comply with requirements in India.

  • Access the status of the Info Exchange message in which TraceLink sent a report to the company that initiated it.
  • Download the search results table as a CSV file.

Getting Started

A Pharmaceutical Manufacturer or Exporter with administrator access must configure workflows to generate reports.

Search Criteria

  • Service Publisher - The Owner responsible for sending the reports to the India Government.
  • Company - Location - The Owner's location. Format is: [Company Name] or [Company Name] - [Location Name].

    This option is only available if a particular Service Publisher is selected.

  • Report Type - The type of compliance report, indicated by the following options:
    • Product - Reports that capture new or updated product master data entries where the Export From Country is India.
    • Product Master Data (DAVA) - Reports that specify that the Product Master Data for a product is created or changed.
    • All Transactional (DAVA) - All transactional reports.
    • Batch Preproduction (DAVA) - Reports that specify that a Batch status is set to Active.
    • Production (DAVA) - Reports that specify that a product has been transferred.
    • Batch Preproduction Withdrawal (DAVA) - Reports that specify that a Batch status has changed from Active to Withdrawn.
    • Export Tertiary Packaging - Reports that capture items exported from India as a sale or transfer.

    • The Report Type selection determines the fields in Advanced Options. See Advanced Options below for details.

  • Report Status - The status of the compliance report, indicated by:
    • Generated - The report has been generated and is ready to be downloaded and sent to the India Government.
  • Date Type - Filters results by the following criteria:

    • Report Date - The date in which reports were generated.

  • Date On Or After - Only reports that occurred on or after the date specified in this field displays in the results.

    The value in this field defaults to 30 days prior to the current GMT date.

  • Date On Or Before - Only reports that occurred on or before the date specified in this field displays in the results.

    The value in this field defaults to the current GMT date.

  • Advanced Options - In addition to the fields above, refine results further using the following fields:
    • The following fields display if the Report Type is Product:
      • Manufacturer Code - The 3-digit code assigned by the Indian government.
      • Premise Code - The 2-digit code assigned by the Indian government.
      • Packaging Code - The each-level packaging code for the serial numbers.
    • The following fields display if the Report Type is Export Tertiary Packaging:
      • Delivery Number - The number that uniquely identifies the shipment.
      • Manufacturer Code - The 3-digit code assigned by the Indian government.
      • Premise Code - The 2-digit code assigned by the Indian government.
    • The following fields display if the Report Type is Product Master Data (DAVA):
      • Product Code - The product's unique item code. Products require an item code type for every Target Market.
      • Business Identifier - The company or location's India business identifier (e.g. IN-PAN, IN-IEC, IN-TIN, GS1 Global Company Prefix).

    • The following fields display if the Report Type is All Transactional (DAVA), Batch Preproduction (DAVA), Production (DAVA), or Batch Preproduction Withdrawal (DAVA):

      • Product Code - The product's unique item code. Products require an item code type for every Target Market.
      • Serial Number - The number assigned to the container. This must be in AI(00) SSCC code format.
      • Business Identifier - The company or location's India business identifier (e.g. IN-PAN, IN-IEC, IN-TIN, GS1 Global Company Prefix).

        or

      • Keywords - Returns results to reports that contain the entered Keywords in the Lot Number, Ship From Party, or Ship To Party fields.

Results Table

High-level information displays for each report returned by a search. Results vary based on Report Type.

Available Actions

If the Search Fields are not visible, select the blue arrow to the left of the Search Criteria section.

  1. Select a Service Publisher from the drop-down.
  2. Enter a Company - Location from the drop-down.
  3. Select a Report Type from the drop-down.
  4. Select a Report Status from the drop-down.
  5. Select a Date Type from the drop-down.
  6. Enter a Date on or After from the date picker.
  7. Enter a Date on or Before from the date picker.
  8. If applicable, choose from the Advanced Options:
    • Complete the following fields if the Report Type is Product:
      • Manufacturer Code - The 3-digit code assigned by the Indian government.
      • Premise Code - The 2-digit code assigned by the Indian government.
      • Packaging Code - Each - The each-level packaging code for the serial numbers.
    • Complete the following fields if the Report Type is Export Tertiary Packaging:

  9. Select the Search button.

    10. Results display in a table on this screen.

    If records do not exist, a "No results were found." message displays in the table.

  • Select the View Details link in the Actions column of the results table.

    • The corresponding View Report Details screen displays.

  1. Select the Info Exchange link in the Actions column of the results table.

    2. The Info Exchange > View Transaction Details screen displays.

  2. Download the Input Message XML file in the format specified by the India Government

    or

    Download the Output Message XML file in the format specified by the India Government.

  • Select Export Results to CSV to download a copy of the copy of the results table as a CSV file.

    • A CSV File downloads.
