Download Info Exchange Data
Overview
Select Download Info Exchange Data from the drop-down in the top right corner of the Info Exchange screen.
Download files containing Info Exchange data:
- Data extract files list information about the Info Exchange messages that occurred or were updated during a certain time-period.
- Bulk file extract files contain files transmitted in past Info Exchange messages (e.g. Input, Output, and Canonical files).
Search Criteria
- – Only extracted files created on or after this date return in the results table. Defaults to one week prior to the current GMT date.
- – Only extracted files created on or before this date return in the results table. Defaults to the current GMT date.
- – Only files of the selected type return in the results table.

- InfoExchange Data Extract – The results return data extracts.
- InfoExchange Feed Extract – The results return bulk file extracts.
Results Table
The table only returns extracted files created by the current Company Administrator user.
- Date Created – Date the current user created the extracted file.
- Report Type – The type of extracted file.
- Info Exchange Data – The extracted file contains metadata for multiple files.
- Info Exchange Files – The extract file contains transferred files in bulk for multiple exchanges.
- File Name – The name of the CSV or .zip file.
- File Size – The size of the CSV or .zip file.

The results display in the table below.
- Select the link in the File Name column of the results table.
The file downloads.
Refresh this screen a few moments after creating an extract to display it when it becomes available.
The CSV file must be properly formatted or it will not be accepted by TraceLink.
When downloading a CSV file, select rather than , and:
- View the file in MS Excel. See Export a CSV File to Excel in Troubleshooting.
- View the CSV file in a text editor.
The following example is truncated for viewing because of the large amount of element headers. For the complete list of element headers, see the Element Headers drop-down below.
These element headers are all required in the CSV file, in order and separated by commas or columns, as shown in the formatting example below.
- Inbound Processing Status – The status of the inbound message received by TraceLink from the sender.
- Outbound Processing Status – The status of the outbound message sent from TraceLink to the recipient.
- Last Updated Date/Time – The last date and time that a user updated the message.
- Sender Company Name – The name of the company that sends the message.
- Recipient Company Name – The name of the company that receives the message.
- Parked Expiration – The date and time that TraceLink attempts to process the message again after putting it on hold.
- Parked Reason – The reason that TraceLink put the message on hold before retrying.
- ProcessLink or Service Name – The name of the app that message occurs in.
- Business Process – The TraceLink app that correlates to the message (e.g. Master Data Exchange, Serialized Operations Manager).
- Transaction Type – The type of message for the specific app (e.g. the Product Track module's message TYPE could be Pick/Ship, Return Receipt, Create Initial message, etc.).
- Transaction ID – TraceLink's unique message identifier. This field determines the available actions against the message (e.g. receipt, import, delivery, redelivery).
- AS2 Subject – The subject of the AS2 communication protocol.
- Input File Processing Date/Time – The date and time that TraceLink processed the inbound message.
- Input Map Name – The name of the file that defines how TraceLink processes messages from the sender.
- Input File Name – The name of the original input file from the sender.
- Input File Format – The file format of the original input file from the sender.
- Canonical File Name – The name of the file in the message after TraceLink processes it.
- Last Output File Processing Date/Time – The last date and time that TraceLink processed the file to send to the recipient.
- Last Output Map Name – The name of the last file used to define how TraceLink processes messages for the recipient.
- Last Output File Name – The name of the last file that TraceLink sent to the recipient.
- Last Output File Format – The file format of the last file that TraceLink sent to the recipient.
- Error Message Text – The text of the error message returned if the processing failed.
- Reconciled – The reconciliation status of the message.
