View Serialized Contents

Overview

Select the View Serial Numbers button on the View Transaction Exchange Details (Serialized) screen.

View the top-level, or outermost, serialized contents of the specific shipment or receipt transaction.

Only companies reporting serialized information through Product Track can access this screen. See Product Track API Guides for more information.

Table

Each row in the table represents a serialized unit in the transaction.

  • Serial Number – Serial number for that specific serialized unit in the transaction.
  • Actual Barcode Content – The numbers and letters embedded in the barcode.
  • NDC – The item code for the product in that specific serialized unit in the transaction.
  • Description – Typically includes the product name, dosage, form, and the number of doses.
  • Lot Number – The lot number associated with the product.
  • Expiration Date – The date that the product expires.
