Resell Product

Select the Resell Product icon () in the Actions column for any row with a Transaction Type of Receipt on the View Transaction Histories screen.

• Create a Transaction History to resell product to another Dispenser.
• Resell a specific number of doses (less than a single item of the product) to another Dispenser.

For Dispensers to resell product to another Dispenser, the US Product Track app must be configured to allow reselling in Company Administration .

1. Hover over the User Menu, then hover over Company Administration and select Services.

   The Services screen displays.

2. Select US Product Track from the Service Type drop-down.
3. Select Publisher from the My Company's role drop-down.
4. Select the Search button.

   The results display in the table.

5. Select the Configure Published Service link in the Actions column of the results table.

   The Configure Published Service Settings screen displays.

6. Select the Can Resell Product checkbox under the Dispenser radio button for the Company Role field.
7. Select the Submit button.

   The Services screen displays.

• NDC – The item code of the product in the Transaction History.
• Description – Typically includes the product name, dosage, form, and the number of doses.
• Product Origin – Indicates where the recipient purchased the product from. Only static if the user's company received the product within TraceLink and specified the Product Origin.
• Lot Number – The lot number associated with the product. Only static if the user's company received the product within TraceLink and specified the Lot Number.

• Product Origin – Indicates where the recipient purchased the product from. Mandatory if the user's company did not receive the product within TraceLink or did not specify the Product Origin during the receiving process.
  • Direct Purchase from Manufacturer – The recipient purchased the product directly from the Pharmaceutical Manufacturer.
  • Direct Purchase from Repackager – The recipient purchased the product from the Repackager.
  • Direct Purchase from Exclusive Distributor – The recipient purchased the product from the Exclusive Distributor.
  • Indirect Purchase – The recipient purchased the product from a Wholesale Distributor.

  Defaults to the Product Origin in Product Master Data if the product defines the product origin for a US target market. Defaults to Direct Purchase from Manufacturer if the product has exactly one change of ownership prior to reselling. Defaults to Indirect Purchase if the product has more than one change of ownership prior to reselling.

• Lot Number – The lot number associated with the product. Mandatory if the user's company did not receive the product within TraceLink or did not specify the Lot Number during the receiving process.
• Transaction Quantity – The number of individual units of product in the transaction.

  Value must be a positive whole number.

• Number of Doses Transferred – The number of doses of an individual unit resold to another Dispenser. Followed by the Dosage Form populated from Product Master Data for that NDC.

  Value must be a positive number, and can include decimals.

• Comments – Any additional information about the transaction for the resold product.

• Delivery Number – Number assigned to uniquely identify the shipment.
• Transfer From – Identifier and name of the company that ships the product. After selecting an identifier and name, the name and address populates below. Defaults to the Transfer To entity from the Transaction History selected.
• Transaction Date – Date of the sale or transfer of products.

Defaults to the current GMT date.

• Shipment Date – Date that the Transfer From entity sends the shipment.

  Defaults to the current GMT date.

• Transfer To – Identifier and name of the company that receives the product. After selecting an identifier and name, the text fields below populate:
  • Company Name – The name of the company receiving the product.
  • Street 1 – The street address for the location receiving the product.
  • Street 2 – Any additional address information.
  • City – The city for the location receiving the product.
  • State – The state for the location receiving the product.
  • Zip Code – The zip code for the location receiving the product.
  • Country – The country for the location receiving the product. Defaults to US.
• Transaction Statement – Set within Company Administration . Every transaction that a company performs includes the transaction statement. The transaction statement verifies that the company sending the transaction has complied with federal regulations surrounding product movement.

1. Under "Product":
   1. Select a Product Origin from the drop-down.
   2. Enter a Lot Number in the text field.
   3. Enter a Transaction Quantityin the text field.
   4. Enter the Number of Doses Transferredin the text field.
   5. Enter any Comments in the text field.
2. Under "Delivery Information":
   1. Enter a Delivery Number in the text field.
   2. Enter a Transfer From entity in the type-ahead field, or select the menu button to see all companies and locations.
   3. Select a Transaction Date from the date picker.
   4. Select a Shipment Date from the date picker.
   5. Enter information for a Transfer To company by doing one of the following:
      • Enter a Transfer To entity in the type-ahead field, or select the menu button to see all companies and locations.
      • Manually enter the Transfer To information:
        1. Enter a Company Namein the text field.
        2. Enter a Street 1in the text field.
        3. Enter a Street 2in the text field.
        4. Enter a City in the text field.
        5. Enter a State in the text field.
        6. Enter a Zip Codein the text field.
        7. Enter a Country in the text field.
   6. Select the Transaction Statement checkbox.
3. Select the Submit button.

   If the user's company did not receive the product in the system before reselling it, TraceLink receives the shipment.

   The View Transaction History Details screen displays for this shipment, and the message "The Transaction History for the resold product is shown below. To see a print friendly copy of this screen select the print icon to the right." displays at the top.

   TraceLink does not automatically send an ASN to the Transfer To company for resold product. In order to send the recipient the Transaction History, print or save the View Transaction History Details screen as a PDF.
