API features

The following new or updated API functionality is included in this release.

SNX Serial Number Provision API on OPUS with OAuth 2.0 Support

Companies that own or manufacture products use the Serial Number Provision API to request serial numbers during production. Manufacturing locations, Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs), and Marketing Authorization Holders (MAHs) integrate their line management systems with TraceLink Serial Number Exchange (SNX). The Serial Number Provision API retrieves serial numbers from SNX for product commissioning. The API uses OAuth 2.0 2-legged authentication through OPUS to securely authorize requests.
