This document describes the TraceLink capabilities included in the Product Information Manager, solution version 10.0.0 release, which is available on Validation on 18 Dec 2024 and Production on 16 Jan 2025.

Export EPCIS in Shipment Notices to the View Exports screen
The Product Information Manager, solution version 10.0.0 Web UI is enhanced to download EPCIS files when the system generates it on demand. PIM users who have access to PIM can download and view the details of an EPCIS file from either the Notification icon or the View Export icon. See Shipment Notices and View Exports for more information.

Add Recalls from Non-FDA Sources
The Product Information Manager, solution version 10.0.0 Web UI is enhanced to add recalls issued by sources other than the FDA. For non-FDA sourced recalls, the recallNoticeSource and recallNoticeEntity fields display the details of the source. For example, if the California State Board of Pharmacy issued a recall, then the value in the field can be state board of pharmacy and the value in the field will be the California State Board of Pharmacy.

Usability Enhancements for Recalls
A new serialNumberInformation field is introduced to accommodate the different ways in which recall sources format serial number data. The existing serialNumberData field captures individual serial numbers, and the serialNumberInformation field captures any unstructured data or additional context about serial numbers, such as the ship date for a set of serial numbers..
