UI features
Report Builder, version 2026.2.0
The following new or updated functionality is included in this release.
Updated Analytics Grid and New Chart Types
This enhancement modernizes the grid and chart components used throughout the application, improving performance, scalability, and access to new visualization capabilities. AG Grid has been upgraded from version 32.0.2 to 35.0.0 and AG Charts from version 10.0.2 to 13.0.0. These upgrades improve chart configuration consistency, enhance chart label rendering for pivoted data, new visualization capabilities, and introduce new chart types.
The following chart types are now available:
- Funnel Chart – Visualize how values change across sequential stages in a process, making it easier to identify conversions, drop-offs, and bottlenecks.
-
Cone Funnel Chart – Display changes in values across process stages using a cone-shaped visualization that emphasizes progression and transitions between stages.
-
Pyramid Chart – Display proportional values in a pyramid-shaped visualization, making it easier to compare the relative contribution of each segment to the whole.

Build Dashboards with Reports in Edit Mode
Report Builder Creator can add reports in the Edit state to dashboards to preview charts before releasing the reports. This streamlines the report authoring workflow, reduces unnecessary report versions, and improves the report design experience.
With this enhancement, users can preview how a work-in-progress report appears in a dashboard, make any required adjustments, and validate dashboard visualizations before finalizing the report. Dashboards can be saved with reports in the Edit state, but dashboards cannot be released until all associated reports are in the Released state.
Previously, reports had to be moved to the Released state before they could be added to dashboards. As a result, users had to create and release a new report version to validate dashboard visualizations, even for minor report changes.

System features
Report Builder, version 2026.2.0
The following new or updated system functionality is included in this release.
Enhanced Reports and Dashboards Performance and Scalability
This enhancement improves the performance and scalability of OPUS Reports and Dashboards, enabling faster report processing and more efficient handling of large datasets. Reports can now be processed with reduced browser workload, helping prevent browser lockups and improving responsiveness when working with high-volume data.
Author Mode continues to provide a fast, interactive report design experience. Consumer Mode now includes infinite scrolling in the report table grid, loading additional data as users scroll. It also supports longer-running report executions, enabling substantially more data to be processed and returned than was previously possible. Depending on the configured execution time and the volume of data, reports may return either complete or partial results, with the application clearly indicating the result status. These improvements provide a more scalable foundation for future growth while maintaining the existing reporting and dashboard experience.
