Searching for Adjusted Transaction Histories

To troubleshoot inventory exceptions, you can search for adjusted transaction histories (THs) in Product Track US. If warehouse personnel use the Update Product Quantity operation to adjust quantities of THs, TraceLink generates an adjusted TH, a TH artifact that documents the quantity by which the TH inventory was incremented or decremented.

TraceLink provides complete traceability by annotating adjusted THs with the details of the adjustment operation. If a government agency requests compliance data for a product, you can locate the adjusted TH to show the details of the exception that prompted the adjustment. Product Track also creates adjusted THs for items that are overpicked.

Search for Adjusted Transaction Histories

To trace product that has been incremented or decremented using the Update Product Quantity operation or through overpicking, you locate "adjusted THs." The adjusted TH lets you find out where and when the adjustments were made, by whom, and the reason for the adjustment.

To find adjusted transaction histories:

  1. Select Compliance > US Product Track in the Modules menu.
  2. In the Go To menu on the top right, click View Transaction Histories.
  3. Ensure that the Search Criteria section of the page is expanded. Click the expand icon if necessary.
  4. For Service Publisher, select your company.
  1. Complete the Date On or After and Data On or Before fields.

Note: The date on an adjusted TH is the same as the date the original TH was received. It is not the date of the adjustment. The date range you enter must include the original receipt date.

  1. For Document Status, select Adjusted - Quantity Decremented or Adjusted - Quantity Incremented.
  2. Under Advanced Options, keep NDC and Keywords selected and enter an NDC or click the drop-down icon to select an NDC. If you type the beginning of the number, TraceLink auto-completes the number.
  1. If you have the lot number, enter it in the Keywords field.
  2. Click Search.

The receipts for adjusted THs display with "Adjusted - Incremented" or "Adjusted - Decremented" as the Document Status:

  1. Click in the Actions column corresponding to the adjusted TH.

On the View Transaction History Details page, the transaction history displays. For adjusted THs, a pink box at the top of the TH provides details about the adjustment:

  1. To print the transaction history, click the printer icon on the top right of the window and print the document.
