Features

Process Recalls from Non-FDA Sources
Product Information Exchange is enhanced to process recalls issued by non-FDA sources. For non-FDA sourced recalls, the and fields will display the details of the source. For example, if the California State Board of Pharmacy issued a recall, then the value in the field can be state board of pharmacy and the value in the field will be California State Board of Pharmacy.

Usability Enhancements for Recalls
A new
field is introduced to accommodate the different ways in which recall sources format serial number data. The existing field captures individual serial numbers, and the field captures any unstructured data or additional context about serial numbers, such as the ship date for a set of serial numbers.Impact analysis
