Configure menus

In OSE, the navigation structure includes the following three elements:

  • Menu – A menu is the top-level navigation element that organizes related submenus and menu items. It provides a clear structure for accessing different areas of the application.
  • Submenu – A submenu is a subset of a menu that groups related menu items within a menu. It adds contextual organization, helping users find actions related to a specific business process, such as procurement or inventory management.
  • Menu item – A menu item represents a specific action or business object that users can interact with. Each menu item typically launches a corresponding page, such as a search or view/edit page for a business object.

This structured approach enhances usability by allowing users to navigate efficiently through the various functionalities available in OSE.
