For example, logistics orchestration could support vendor managed inventory transactions between a pharmaceutical manufacturer and its customer (health system and/or wholesaler) networks, enabling the exchange of inventory balance reports, inventory updates, warehouse stock transfers, and other business objects, as the logistics service provider supports the manufacturer’s supply of its pharmaceutical products to the customers.
