Monitor commissioned lots
Use the Monitor Commissioned Lots menu item to investigate data about lots that have been commissioned in TraceLink, sourced from Serial Number Exchange, Serialized Operations Manager, and Master Data Exchange in Track & Trace Services.
The data in
can be useful for completing certain supply chain tasks:- Manufacturing line tasks:
- Monitor manufacturing activity to ensure business as usual.
- View information about the items produced at each packaging level.
- View the products and lots produced for each market.
- Reconcile lot production in TraceLink against the L3 system.
- Warehouse tasks:
- Identify a returned item with a damaged lot number (i.e. the lot number is not legible, but the serial number is).
Dashboard view
The dashboard view shows a summary of the data, providing a visualization of the commissioning activity. The Commissioning Details chart shows the quantity of serial numbers commissioned for each product by lot and packaging level.
By default, the dashboard view shows data for the last 100 products most recently commissioned within the specified date range.

Use the options in the Filter Results section to narrow the data on the screen, and use the filters in the Commissioning Details section to adjust the data displayed in the chart.
To filter data in the Filters section

- Last Week (default) – View data from the last 7 days.
- Last Month – View data from the last 30 days.
- Last 3 Months – View data from the last 90 days.
- Last 6 Months – View data from the last 180 days.
- Custom Range – View data from a specified time period (maximum range of one year).

- Target Market and Location – Narrow the data to products with one or more specific target markets and a specific location.
- Product and Lot Number – Narrow the data to a specific product and lot number.

- Single Target Market – The product is produced for a single market.
- Multiple Target Markets – The product is produced for more than one market.

To filter data in the Commissioning Details section
- Enter the name or identifier of a to locate it in the chart and narrow the data.
- Select the , , , and checkboxes to the left of the chart to narrow the data to only that packaging level (at least one checkbox must be selected).

- To view more details about a specific data point in a chart, select the data point, and then select .
- To view master data information for a product, select the row for that product in the chart.See the information that displays for each product
- Product Name – The name of the product.
- Description – The description of the product.
- Item Code – The primary item code (e.g. Internal Material Number or Country Drug Code) that identifies the product.
- Target Markets – The target markets that the product is commissioned for.
- Package Size – The number of individual doses in the pack.
- Dosage Form – The form the product is dispensed in (e.g. tablet or pill).
- Strength – The strength of the product (e.g. 100 mg).
Table view
The table view shows data for each packaging code and lot and allows for additional filtering to explore the data further.

- Internal Material Number – The Internal Material Number identifier value that applies to the lot number's product, if applicable.
- Lot Number – The lot number that the serial numbers are commissioned for.
- Initial Commission Quantity – The total quantity of serial numbers for the Lot Number and UOM that were commissioned, including serial numbers that were later decommissioned.
- Initial Commission Location Name – The name of the location where the serial numbers for the Lot Number were commissioned.

- Select the Export icon to export the messages.
TraceLink begins generating the CSV file with the data displayed in the table. It is available in the Notifications panel when it is ready.

The following values display by default:

Packaging Code – The packaging code value that the Lot Number is commissioned for.

Packaging Code Type – The type of Packaging Code value (e.g. GTIN-14).

UOM – The unit of measure that the packaging code is for (e.g. Each).

Internal Material Number – The Internal Material Number identifier value that applies to the lot number's product, if applicable.

Lot Number – The lot number that the serial numbers are commissioned for.

Initial Commission Quantity – The total quantity of serial numbers for the Lot Number and UOM that were commissioned, including serial numbers that were later decommissioned.

Initial Commission Location Name – The name of the location where the serial numbers for the Lot Number were commissioned.
Select the Expand icon to view the following values:

Expiration Date – The expiration date associated with the Lot Number.

Country Drug Code Type – The type of Country Drug Code associated with the Country Drug Code value (e.g. NDC).

Country Drug Code – The Country Drug Code identifier value that applies to the Lot Number, if applicable.

Aggregated – Indicates whether the serial numbers associated to the Lot Number have been aggregated. Displays as Y or N (i.e. Yes or No).

Date Initially Commissioned – The date that the first serial number from the Lot Number was commissioned.

Initial Commission Location ID – The identifier of the location where the serial numbers for the Lot Number were commissioned (e.g. GLN).
- Manufacturing Date – The official date provided in the commissioning event.

Target Market – The market that the lot is intended for.
- Product Name – The name of the product that the lot is for.
- Product Description – Description of the product, sourced from Product Master Data.
- Dosage Form – The form the product is dispensed in (e.g. tablet or pill).
- Strength – The strength of the product (e.g. 100 mg).
- Packaging Size – The number of individual doses in the pack.

Product Release – Indicates whether the Lot Number has been part of a product release. Displays as Y or N (i.e. Yes or No).

Manufactured By – Indicates whether the lot was manufactured by the SPI Owner or a trade Partner. Displays as My Company or Partner Company.
The My Company. Otherwise, the value is Partner Company.
value is determined from the lot's commissioning location. If the commissioning location exists in Company Master Data, the lot's value is - Event Processed Date – Indicates the date on which an event was processed by Track & Trace Services.
