Search T2 documents

1. Select [Company Name] United States Compliance Network from the Network drop-down in the header.
2. Select a Team (e.g. your entire company or a Link to a specific Partner or internal location) in the header.
3. Select T2 Documents from the Process drop-down in the header.
4. Select the Go button in the header.
5. Fill in one or more of the following fields to filter the results:
   1. Transaction Date field – The date range for when the delivery's message was processed, which also represents when the product changed ownership.
   2. Delivery Number field – The delivery number associated with the shipment or receipt.
   3. Transaction ID, Lot Number, or Entity field – The transaction ID value, lot number, business or location name, or business or location identifier value associated to the delivery.
6. Select Show Additional Filters and fill in the following fields to further filter the results:
   1. Filter By drop-down – The type of value to filter for:
      1. Delivery Type – The type of delivery:
         • All
         • Shipment – The delivery is an outbound shipment from your company to another entity.
         • Receipt – The delivery is an inbound receipt that your company received from another entity.
      2. Document Status – The status of the T2 document:
         • All
         • Active – The T2 document is for an active shipment or receipt.
         • Voided – The T2 document is for a shipment or receipt that is voided in Serialized Operations Manager.
      3. NDC – The National Drug Code that identifies the product.
         For accurate search result, the Item Code for the product must match the same format as entered in the Order Items on the delivery in the sender's Serialized Operations Manager. For example, if the Order Items on the delivery has hyphens (-), the Item Code for the product must also have hyphens in it.
      4. Lot Number – The lot number for the serialized items.
      5. Packaging Code – The packaging code for the product.
      6. GTIN-14 – The 14-digit Global Trade Item Number that identifies the packaging level of the product.
      7. Transaction ID – The transaction identifiers associated to the delivery (e.g. Purchase Order Number).
      8. From Business – The business that ships the delivery.
      9. To Business – The business that receives the delivery.
      10. Ship From Location – The physical location that the delivery is shipped from.
      11. Ship To Location – The physical location that receives the delivery.
   2. Select Add Another Filter to specify another Filter Option.

      Select the Remove icon to remove filter criteria.

7. Select Apply.

   The results display in the table.

   • Document Status – The status of the T2 document:
     • Active – The T2 document is for an active shipment or receipt.
     • Voided – The T2 document is for a shipment or receipt that is voided in Serialized Operations Manager.
   • Transaction Date – The date that the delivery message is processed. This date also represents the date that the product changed ownership according to the DSCSA and should match the Date Shipped for the delivery.
   • Delivery Type – The type of delivery:
     • Shipment – The delivery is an outbound shipment from your company to another entity.
     • Receipt – The delivery is an inbound receipt that your company received from another entity.
   • Transfer From Business – The business that ships the delivery.
   • Transfer To Business – The business that receives the delivery.
   • Ship To Location – The physical location that the delivery is shipped from.
   • NDC – The National Drug Code that identifies the product.
   • Lot Number – The lot number for the serialized items.
   • Transaction IDs – The transaction identifiers associated to the delivery (e.g. Purchase Order Number).
   • Quantity – The number of serialized items included in the T2 document (i.e. the number of items with this product and lot number combination).
8. Select the Actions icon for a specific document.
9. Select View T2 Document.

   The View T2 Document screen displays. See T2 document details for more information.

Tips

• Select any row to display a panel with additional information about the T2 document.
• Select the Export Search Results in PDF icon to export all of the T2 documents in the results to a PDF file. If Document Status filter is not added, the PDF will contain only Active T2 documents.

• Select the View Exports icon to view the list of exported documents. The File Name of the exported T2 documents file is in one of the following formats:

  • T2Document_[Unique ID].[FileExtension] – File name of a single exported file, where [Unique ID] is NDCIdentifierType_IdentifierValue_LotNumber and [FileExtension] is either CSV or PDF (e.g. T2Document_US_NDC542_12345123412_IT3OKB.csv).

  • T2Documents_YYYYMMDD_HHMMSS.[FileExtension] – File name of the bulk exported file.

• Select the Actions icon for a row with Voided Document Status to view the voided T2 document of a specific delivery. When selected, the View Voided T2 Document screen displays. See T2 document details for more information.

• Select the Export Search Results in CSV icon to export all of the T2 documents in the results to a CSV file.

  • Document Status – The status of the T2 document:
    • Active – The T2 document is for an active shipment or receipt.
    • Voided – The T2 document is for a shipment or receipt that is voided in Serialized Operations Manager.
  • Transaction Date – The date that the delivery message is processed. This date also represents the date that the product changed ownership according to the DSCSA and should match the Date Shipped for the delivery.
  • Delivery Type – The type of delivery:
    • Shipment – The delivery is an outbound shipment from your company to another entity.
    • Receipt – The delivery is an inbound receipt that your company received from another entity.
  • Transfer From Business – The business that ships the delivery.
  • Transfer From Business Identifier – The serial number of the item.
  • Transfer To Business – The business that receives the delivery.
  • Transfer To Business Identifier – The serial number of the item.
  • NDC – The National Drug Code that identifies the product.
  • Lot Number – The lot number for the serialized items.
  • Transaction IDs – The transaction identifiers associated to the delivery (e.g. Purchase Order Number).
  • Quantity – The number of serialized items included in the T2 document (i.e. the number of items with this product and lot number combination).
  • Product Description – The description of the product, which typically includes the strength, dose, and other product information.
  • Expiration Date – The expiration date for the serialized items.
  • Ship From Location Name – The name of the physical location that the delivery is shipped from.
  • Ship From Location Identifier – The identifier type of the location that the delivery is shipped from (e.g. SGLN, DEA, HIN, GLN, DUNS, DUNS4, COMPANYID, COMPANYSITEID).
  • Ship From Location Address – The address of the location that the delivery is shipped from.
  • Ship To Location Name – The name of the physical location that receives the delivery.
  • Ship To Location Identifier – The identifier type of the location that receives the delivery (e.g. SGLN, DEA, HIN, GLN, DUNS, DUNS4, COMPANYID, COMPANYSITEID).
  • Ship To Location Address – The address of the location that receives the delivery.
  • Portal Access Code – The code to access the drop shipment report via the serialized drop ship portal.

The event triggers for generating T2 documents are the same as the deliveries. If the event triggers are enabled to generate deliveries, then the T2 documents are generated as long as the trigger conditions are met.

US Compliance generates T2 documents when a shipment or receipt is created in US Compliance that meets all of the following conditions:

• The product has a Target Market of US.
• The product has Traceability Required set to Yes for the US target market.
• The shipment or receipt's Status is Generated or Delivered.

For the products in the delivery that meet the above conditions, US Compliance generates a T2 document for each lot number, resulting in a T2 document for each unique product and lot number combination. When a shipment or receipt is voided in Serialized Operations Manager, US Compliance updates the status of the shipment or receipt as Voided along with the associated T2 documents.

US Compliance includes either a Direct Purchase Statement, Received Direct Purchase Statement, or both in the T2 document if the following conditions are met:

• The US Product Track app on Track & Trace Services for the From Business is configured to include a Direct Purchase Statement, Received Direct Purchase Statement, or both.

• In Partner Master Data, the From Business must have a Partner Type of:

  • Manufacturer – If the partner is a manufacturer.

  • Packager – If the partner is a repackager.

  • Wholesaler – If the partner is a wholesaler.

  • Distributor – If the partner is an exclusive distributor.

  Or

  In Product Master Data, the product must have a Product Origin of:

  • Direct Purchase from Exclusive Distributor – The company purchased the product from the sole distributor of the product.

  • Direct Purchase from Manufacturer – The company purchased the product from the manufacturer.

  • Direct Purchase from Repackager – The company purchased the product from a repackager.

  • Indirect Purchase – The company purchased the product from a wholesale distributor.

  • Originator (Exclusive Distributor) – The company, as a wholesale distributor, directly purchased the product from the manufacturer and serves as the sole distributor of the product. This option only applies if the Country Market Code is United States.

  • Originator (Manufacturer) – The company manufactures the product.

To generate the T2 documents in US Compliance automatically, enable the appropriate event triggers and ensure that the relevant event trigger conditions are met in Master Data Exchange. When configured, US Compliance generates the T2 document automatically when the shipment or receipt is created. See Review deliveries for the methods available to create the shipments and receipts in US compliance.

T2 documents cannot be manually generated in US Compliance. If there is a problem with the shipment in Serialized Operations Manager or the US Product Track GS1 US Healthcare Transaction History (EPCIS v1.2) message, see Info Exchange on Track & Trace Services to correct the issues and reprocess the message. When the message is reprocessed with the correct information, US Compliance will generate the delivery and, if the event trigger conditions are met, also generate the T2 documents.

Tips

• Select the Export CSV icon or Export PDF icon to export all T2 document details as a CSV or a PDF file respectively, including any additional serial numbers not shown in the UI.

Displays only for deliveries with a Status of Voided.

• Reason – The reason for voiding the delivery:

  • Correction – A user entered incorrect information when creating or receiving the shipment.

  • Damaged – The product is damaged.

  • Damaged in Facility – The product was damaged in the facility.

  • Damaged in Transit – The product was damaged during transit.

  • Data Issue – TraceLink contains incorrect data.

  • Destroyed – The product was destroyed.

  • Expired – The product expired.

  • Found Inventory – A user found product that does not exist in the inventory.

  • Investigation – The product could be damaged, so someone must test the product (e.g. because of a temperature excursion).

  • Lost Inventory – The product is missing.

  • Order Cancelled – The shipment order was canceled.

  • Order Rejected – The shipment order was rejected.

  • Other – The product needs to be updated for a reason not listed here.

  • Over Receipt – A user at the receiving location found more product in the shipment than the receipt had listed.

  • Over Ship – A user at the shipping location realized the shipment contains more product than the receipt had listed.

  • Physical Count – The inventory needs to be updated after performing a physical count of the inventory.

  • Recalled – The product was recalled.

  • Receiving Error – A user made an error when receiving the shipment in TraceLink.

  • Shipping Error – A user made an error when creating the shipment in TraceLink.

  • Short Receipt – A user at the receiving location found less product in the shipment than the receipt had listed.

  • Short Ship – A user at the shipping location realized the shipment contains less product than the receipt had listed.

• Date Voided – The date and time the delivery was voided, in the format DD MMM YYYY. This field corresponds to the Transaction Date specified by the user in Serialized Operations Manager.
• Comments – Descriptive text explaining the reason for the voided delivery.
• Processing Time – The void date of the delivery within TraceLink. This field corresponds to the Date Voided field in Serialized Operations Manager.

The Transaction Statement is a legal statement from the company that sells the product. This statement attests that the company is complying with all applicable DSCSA regulations for product movement and change of ownership. Every T2 document from the company must include the statement, which is configured in Track & Trace Services Company Administration.

This section also includes a Direct Purchase Statement, Received Direct Purchase Statement, or both if the T2 document includes product that was originally purchased by the seller directly from the Pharmaceutical Manufacturer or Repackager or includes product that the seller received from a company that directly purchased it from the Pharmaceutical Manufacturer or Repackager. These statements are also configured in Track & Trace Services Company Administration, and must meet the additional trigger criteria for the Direct Purchase Statement and Received Direct Purchase Statement to display correctly.

Including the Direct Purchase Statement and Received Direct Purchase Statement aligns with Applying GS1 System of Standards for DSCSA and Serialized Interoperable Traceability Implementation Guideline, Release 1.2. US Compliance combines the Transaction Statement, Direct Purchase Statement (if applicable), and Received Direct Purchase Statement (if applicable) in the T2 documents so that US Compliance Owners and Partners can be compliant, beyond the level specified by the Release 1.2 version of the guidelines.

This information is for the delivery message that included the product in the T2 document.

• Status – The status of the T2 document:
  • Active – The T2 document is for an active shipment or receipt.
  • Voided – The T2 document is for a shipment or receipt that is voided in Serialized Operations Manager.
