Multienterprise Process Link, version 2024.7.0

There is no new or updated API functionality included in this release.

Send and Receive Credit And Debit Adjustments in X12 and IDoc Formats

Companies that own or link to Multienterprise Process Link can exchange credit and debit adjustments with their Partners via TraceLink in X12 and IDoc formats. Credit and debit adjustments are bi-directional which corrects errors or make adjustments to previously recorded financial transactions of buyer or seller. In both cases, adjustments are made to the accounts receivable and payable ledger to reflect the corrected balances. For credit adjustments, the accounts receivable balance is decreased, indicating that the buyer owes less. Conversely, a debit adjustment increases the amount owed by a buyer. Exchanging credit and debit adjustments asynchronously via Multienterprise Process Link enhances the accuracy and efficiency of financial reconciliations and allows companies to manage discrepancies in invoices, payments, and inventory more effectively, leading to more accurate financial records and improved partner relationships.

In the Web UI, Owners can create credit and debit adjustments; save a draft for submission at a later date; add, view, or delete individual credit and debit adjustments to the transaction before submitting the credit and debit adjustments to customers. Additionally, Owners can search for; view the details of the credit and debit adjustments; and troubleshoot and resubmit credit and debit adjustments.

For companies whose Partners do not own Multienterprise Information Network Tower, Owners can add their Partner's users to their network and assign them the appropriate roles to enable them to search for and view the details of geocoordinates in the Web UI using the Owner's instance of Multienterprise Information Network Tower.

Additionally, Multienterprise Process Link enables companies and their Partners to search for, view, and troubleshoot credit and debit adjustment messages; leverage a record of their credit and debit adjustment details for business records or compliance purposes; and retrieve the input, output, and canonical files for a given credit and debit adjustment using the Search Business Transactions screen in the Multienterprise Information Network Tower Web UI.

Support for file download functionality in the Web UI

The File Download functionality in the Web UI provides users with the capability to access and download various transaction-related files, including input files, output files, and canonical representations. This feature is applicable to all transactions, whether they are sent or received, ensuring comprehensive access to critical data for analysis, troubleshooting, or archival purposes.

A key requirement for this functionality is that the file names must be displayed as click-able and download-able links within the interface. This allows users to easily locate and retrieve the files they need without additional navigation or complexity.
