External manufacturing incidents

External manufacturing incidents allow users at companies that own or link to APT (e.g. supplier relationship managers, quality compliance managers, manufacturing plant managers) to collaborate with their internal locations and external Partners to investigate and resolve problems, as well as update processes to ensure an incident does not happen again. For example, a CMO might need to report a damaged lot to the Manufacturer, or a Manufacturer might need to report a late or missing shipment to the CMO.

Monitor incidents at a high level to understand the state of all incidents that you have access to. For example, quality compliance managers might need to follow up with CMO locations that have caused the most external manufacturing incidents.

Review external manufacturing incident metrics at a high level to gain a deeper insight into the state of all external manufacturing incidents that you have access to. Owners can use these metrics to track overall external manufacturing incident trends and easily identify areas of improvement (e.g. a quality compliance manager can easily see if the number of external manufacturing incidents has decreased in the last 6 months). Only users with Expanded Access can access the advanced metrics dashboard tabs.
