Link Requests
Overview
How to Navigate to this Screen
- Select from the Management landing page.
- Expand the Navigation in the header of any screen, and select Link Requests.
Why Use this Screen
Accept Link requests to collaborate with others in TraceLink.
Managers use this screen to accept and decline Link requests from:
- Users at Partner companies requesting to establish a new Link to an app.
- Users from the Manager's company (Partner or Owner) requesting access to an app.
Getting Started
Link Requests
Members on the TraceLink Network send requests from Community to link to a specific app. Managers establish the Link by accepting the request, and the Member's company (or the individual, if the Member does not belong to a company) becomes a Partner in that app.
If the request establishes a new Link with the Partner, then the requesting Member becomes the Partner company's Manager for this Link. If the Link already exists between the Owner and the requesting Member's company, the Member gains access to the Link (and the corresponding app) as part of the Partner company.

Link Requests
Static Information
- From – The Member on the TraceLink Network who requests a Link to an app.
- Company – The company that the requesting Member is associated with.
- Application – The name that the Owner assigns to their app, followed by the application type.
- Description – The Owner's description of the app (displays as -- if the Owner did not enter a description).
- Subject – A concise explanation of the request.
- Date – The date that the Member sent the request.

Available Actions
Accept a Link Request
- Select the Accept Link icon in the Actions column.
The Accept Link? dialog box displays.
- Select in the dialog box.
The dialog box closes, and TraceLink sends an email to the requesting Member.

Decline a Link Request
- Select the Decline Link icon in the Actions column.
The Decline Link? dialog box displays.
- Select in the dialog box.
The dialog box closes, and TraceLink sends an email to the requesting Member with the declined invitation.
