Credentials
After updating MDLP credentials for a Russia Account Number, the Web UI might continue to show the status of the credentials as Verified if the Configure Published Service Settings screen was not submitted after deleting the row with the original information.
If MDLP credentials still have a status of Verified after updating, delete the row with the credentials, submit Configure Published Service Settings screen, and reenter the information. See Set up TraceLink applications for more information.
Compliance reports
Because aggregation and disaggregation happen frequently, the 911 - Unit Pack, 913 - Unit Extract, and 914 - Unit Append reports are hidden by default on the Compliance Reports screen in the Russia Compliance Web UI. This improves performance and provides better visibility into other report types.
Owners must search for these report types to view their details.
The appropriate workflows must be enabled in
If there was an issue generating the report automatically, Owners can generate it on demand using the Serialized Operations Manager Web UI. All report types can be generated on demand in Serialized Operations Manager, except for the 701 - Accept report in response to a 614 - Foreign Import Notification. Russia Compliance Owners generate this report type on demand using the Russia Compliance Web UI.
A report of Rejected, Partial, or Failed indicates that a government system found a problem with the report:
- The Rejected indicates that MDLP received the report successfully, but rejected all of the information.
- The Partial indicates that MDLP received the report successfully, but accepted only some of the information.
- The Failed indicates that the OMS received the report successfully, but rejected the information. This status is applicable to only the OMS Domestic Utilisation and OMS Foreign Utilisation reports, which TraceLink submits to the OMS and the OMS then submits to MDLP.
MDLP and the OMS might reject a report if the data provided has issues (e.g. a serial number is invalid) or if reports are submitted in the incorrect order. For example, a 913 - Unit Extract report, which captures the disaggregation of serial numbers from their parent containers, might fail because the serial numbers in the report have not previously been reported as aggregated in a 911 - Unit Pack or 915 - Multi Pack report.
If a report fails with a of Rejected or Partial, use the Response Information in the report to determine the cause of the issue, and regenerate the report on demand in Serialized Operations Manager if necessary. All report types can be generated on demand in Serialized Operations Manager, except for the 701 - Accept report in response to a 614 - Foreign Import Notification. Russia Compliance Owners generate this report type on demand using the Russia Compliance Web UI.
If a 701 - Accept report fails to generate for a 614 - Foreign Import Notification, Owners can generate the report on demand using the Russia Compliance Web UI.
Owners use the Serialized Operations Manager Web UI to generate the 701 - Accept report on demand for other types of MDLP notifications.
To generate the 701 - Accept report for a 614 - Foreign Import Notification on demand
- Hover over , and then select Russia Compliance.
- Select .
A table displays with all available compliance reports and notifications, other than the 911 - Unit Pack, 913 - Unit Extract, and 914 - Unit Append reports, which Owners must search for.
- Search for the 614 - Foreign Import Notification with the 701 - Accept report that failed to generate.
- Select the Reprocess
icon in the Actions column for the 614 - Foreign Import Notification. - Specify how TraceLink determines the serial numbers to include in the 701 - Accept report:
Select to report exactly the same serial numbers included in the 614 - Foreign Import Notification, regardless of whether the serial numbers exist in TraceLink.
or
- Leave unselected to report only serial numbers included in the 614 - Foreign Import Notification that also have an of Shipped in TraceLink.
- Select .
TraceLink begins generating the 701 - Accept report, and the report displays in the table when it is ready.
If was not selected, TraceLink requests information from MDLP about the serial numbers included in the 614 - Foreign Import Notification via the outbound 210 - Query Kiz Info message and inbound 211 - Kiz Info message before verifying that the each-level serial numbers in the packaging hierarchy have an of Shipped in TraceLink.
When a 601 - Move Order Notification or 603 - Move Owner Notification is received and the MDLP Notification Received event workflow is enabled, TraceLink attempts to retrieve information from MDLP and create an Unsubmitted Receipt in Serialized Operations Manager with the serial numbers in the notification. Owners can manually retry this process if the Unsubmitted Receipt could not be created successfully.
To retry processing a 601 - Move Order Notification or 603 - Move Owner Notification, on the Compliance Reports screen, select the Reprocess
icon for the notification that failed to process, and then select in the confirmation dialog. TraceLink requests information from MDLP about the notification's serial numbers via the outbound 210 - Query Kiz Info message and inbound 211 - Kiz Info message and processes the information to register and aggregate the serial numbers, creating the Unsubmitted Receipt in Serialized Operations Manager with the serial numbers in the Pending Receipt state. The receipt can then be submitted to generate the 701 - Accept report.
Crypto codes
A crypto code order might fail if there is an issue with the serialization information provided (e.g. the GTIN packaging code is invalid or a serial number is longer than 13 digits).
To troubleshoot:
- Hover over , and then select Compliance - Russia Crypto Codes.
- Select the Download Errors
icon for the failed order to download the errors.txt file, which contains errors raised by CRPT and TraceLink. If necessary, contact the organization in the Provided By column to correct the issue.
Companies that receive serial numbers from an external system (e.g. a CMO that receives serial numbers from their MAH, or MAH that uses an external serial number manager) do not see an in the Russia Crypto Codes application because the external system is responsible for requesting crypto codes from the CRPT OMS.
Crypto codes must be enabled in the serial number template assigned to the location.
Check the serial number templates that the company uses for products distributed in Russia and confirm that:
- Crypto codes are enabled.
- The template is assigned to the appropriate locations.
Russia requires each domestic manufacturing location to have its own unique GTIN packaging code, so the company might use many serial number templates for the same product, each of which is assigned to only one location. - The Assignee on the OMS Credentials tab in Company Administration is also listed as the in Product Master Data.
See the Serial Number Manager Online Help for more information.

There is a known issue in the documentation where some API guidelines that are exported to Excel via the Export to Excel
icon display only a portion of the entire guideline. This issue will be fixed in a future revision.
