Request New Audit Trail Exports

Overview

Select Request New Audit Trail Export on the View Audit Trail Exports screen.

Create an audit trail file to view the actions that the company's users took in TraceLink within the past 31 days. Audit trail files provide visibility into the exact date and time that a particular user made a change, the data that was updated, and where the change occurred (e.g. which application, whether the user touched the UI or a map).

Specify Date Range

  • Events On Or After – The start date for the audit trail data in the export. Defaults to one day prior to the current GMT date.
  • Events On Or Before – The end date for the audit trail data in the export. Defaults to the current GMT date.

Available Actions

  1. Select a date from the Events On or After date picker.
  2. Select a date from the Events On or Before date picker.
  3. Select Request New Audit Trail Export.

    TraceLink asynchronously generates a file with the data requested and sends an email notification to the requester when the file is available for download on the View Audit Trail Exports screen.

Error Messages

Error Message Description
Date range must be 31 days or less. The date range specified for the audit trail cannot be more than 31 days. Change one of the dates so the range is equal to or less than 31 days.
