Transaction Delivery Rules

Overview

Select the Transaction Delivery Rules tab on the Configure Subscription Settings screen.

Configure how TraceLink automatically delivers the application's messages to the company via AS2 or FTP.

This configuration depends on the Info Exchange profile.

Transaction Delivery Rules

  • Message – The type of message.
  • Description – A brief description of the message.
  • If Partner Posts a Message Automatically Deliver – Indicates what happens when a Partner sends the message.
    • Yes - automatically deliver – TraceLink automatically delivers the message.
    • No - a user must request delivery – TraceLink does not deliver the message until a user requests the delivery.

Serial Number Disposition Assigned Message from contract manufacturer indicating serial numbers that have been assigned to products. Yes - automatically deliver No - a user must request delivery
Serial Number Request Request from contract manufacturer for serial numbers Yes - automatically deliver No - a user must request delivery
Serial Number Response Response from customer to a Serial Number Request Yes - automatically deliver No - a user must request delivery

Available Actions

  1. Select an If Partner Posts a Message Automatically Deliver radio button for each message.
  2. Select Submit.

    The Manage Services screen displays, and TraceLink saves the updated configuration.
