Common Errors

TraceLink documents the most common errors generated in Info Exchange to help customers troubleshoot and solve the problems causing these errors. The following information is provided for each error:

  • Simplified Error Message – A stripped-down version of the typical error message with specific identifiers and other details removed.
  • Sample Error Message – A complete example of the error message that appears in Info Exchange, including placeholder identifiers.
  • Root Cause – The underlying problem that is causing the error.
  • Solution – Instructions on how to triage and resolve the problem that is causing the error.
  • Responsible Party – The party who is responsible for the underlying problem and who has the ability to resolve the problem (i.e. the customer or the sender of the message).
