Pick Ship Overview

The Product Track Pick Ship message is used by Wholesale Distributors and Repackagers. This message’s purpose is communicating the details of a delivery and the products picked against a delivery for either:

  1. A shipment of sold products for which a change of ownership has occurred, or
  2. A shipment of an intra-company transfer of products, from one Product Track location to another, to transfer Transaction History (TH) access to the new location (e.g. warehouse-to-warehouse transfer).

This message also sets a delivery to "Complete" so TraceLink may initiate the processing of the delivery to generate outbound Transaction Histories (THs).
