2. View Comparison

Overview

Select the Reconcile button on 1. Enter Container Information step of the Reconcile Container screen.

  • Compare the serial numbers in the container on-hand against the serial numbers aggregated to the same container in the TraceLink repository.
  • Access the Serial Number History for any serial number displayed to investigate a discrepancy.

View Comparison

  • Container Serial Number - The container serial number which the query ran against.
  • Container Serial Number Status - The status of the container serial number (e.g. commissioned, decommissioned, destroyed).

Results Table

There are 2 viewing options for this table, determined by the View Discrepancies Only checkbox.

  • If selected, the table only displays serial numbers with discrepancies between the entered physical contents and the Serialized Operations Manager repository.
  • If not selected, the table displays all serial numbers from the entered physical contents and the Serialized Operations Manager repository.
  • Serial Number - A list of child serial numbers in the physical container, serial numbers that are aggregated to the container within TraceLink, or both.
  • In Actual Container - Indicates whether the serial number is inside the physical container.
    • - The serial number is present in the list of Child Serial Numbers entered.
    • - The serial numbers is not present in the list of Child Serial Numbers entered.
  • Aggregated To Container In Repository - Indicates if the serial number is aggregated to the container within TraceLink.
    • - The serial number is present in the Serialized Operations Manager repository.
    • - The serial numbers is not present in the Serialized Operations Manager repository.
