Select the Location Identifiers tab on the Add Partner Location or Edit Partner Location Details screen.

• Add the unique identifiers for a company's given location which are used whenever product or information is sent to or from that location.
• Select a location identifier for TraceLink to use as that location's primary identifier.

 The following fields refer to information for the trade partner company's location.

• Identifier Type – The identifier type used for this entity.

  See Identifier and Item Code Types for more information.

• Value – The value associated with the identifier type.

  See Identifier and Item Code Types for more information.

• Primary Identifier – Indicates the primary identifier used by this company. Only one primary identifier is allowed, and it cannot be deleted. TraceLink uses the primary identifier to match any future updates or imports to the correct entity in the TraceLink Network.

  See the Identifier Types section in Identifier and Item Code Types for information about which identifier types cannot be used as a company's primary identifier.

1. Select Add New Identifier.
2. Select an Identifier Type from the drop-down.
3. Enter the Value in the text field.
4. If there is more than one identifier, select the Primary Identifier using the radio button.
5. Select Add Location.

   The View Partner Master Data displays, and the new Partner location displays in the results table.
