Registration Overview

The Registration message registers a serial number and its attributes (based on data encoded on the barcode) into the Serialized Operations Manager repository. Once recorded in the Serialized Operations Manager, Owners can perform serialized operations against the serialized product.

This message is used when Owners have custody of a serialized product but did not receive the original commission event data from the supplier.
