Create Repackaged Product

Select the Create Repackaged Product button on the Manage Initial Transactions screen.

Create initial transactions for products that the user's company repackages.

• NDC – Item code of the product in the Transaction History.The item codes in the type-ahead field populate from Product Master Data and Redbook.
• Lot Number – The lot number associated with the product.
• Quantity – The number of this product included.

  Value must be an integer greater than 0 and a maximum of 8 characters (e.g. 10000000).

• Expiration Date – The product's expiration date.
• Reference ID – Identifies the product at a more granular level than the lot number. Often the physical location of the product in the inventory.

1. Under "Repackaged Product Attributes":
   1. Enter a NDC in the type-ahead field, or select the menu button to see all NDCs.
   2. Enter a Quantity in the text field.
   3. Enter a Lot Number in the text field.
   4. Select an Expiration Date from the date picker.
   5. Enter a Reference ID in the text field.
2. Under "Source Product(s)":
   1. Enter a NDC in the type-ahead field, or select the menu button to see all NDCs.
   2. Enter a Lot Number in the text field.
   3. Enter a Reference ID in the text field.
   4. Select the Specify Another Source Product link if needed.
3. Select the Submit button.

   The Manage Initial Transactions screen displays, and TraceLink creates the Transaction History for the repackaged product.
