Select Add Partner Company on the View Partner Master Data screen.

Add Partner Companies that exchange information or product with the application Owner

Trade partner companies must be added to Partner Master Data to enable this exchange of information and product.

For Partner Companies in the EU

Compliance reporting to the EU Hub pulls from Company and Product Master Data. Make sure the following trade partners exist in Partner Master Data for EU reports to generate correctly:

• Pharmaceutical Manufacturer operating in EU countries for the Owner.
• CMOs operating in EU countries for the Owner.
• 3PLs operating or distributing product in EU countries for the Owner.

The following fields refer to the trade partner company.

Companies that use TraceLink for serialization and compliance must enter a value in the Street 1, City, State Or Region, Postal Code, and Country fields.

• Name – The name of this company.
• Data Status – Whether the data tied to the trade partner company is active or inactive. The status of the Master Data tied to this company.
  • Active – The data can be used in messages and UI functions, and TraceLink pulls the data when necessary.
  • Inactive – The data cannot be pulled for other functions within TraceLink.

  Setting the trade partner company data to Inactive disables data for all the locations tied to that trade partner company.

The following fields refer to the trade partner company.

• Partner Type – The type of business the company conducts (value optional).
  • Manufacturer – The license holder of the pharmaceutical product (e.g. Brand Owners, Generics, MAHs, Specialty Companies).
  • Chemist – The company specializes in the composition of substances, may mix substances in preparation for dispensation, and has a shop selling medicines and cosmetics. Also know as a compounding facility.
  • Packager – The company packages products.
  • Logistics – The company provides logistics services (e.g. LSP, 3PL).
  • Carrying and Forwarding Agent – (CFA) The company facilitates the movement and transfer of goods. In India, CFAs are often involved in moving goods as interstate stock transfers.
  • Wholesaler – The company is a wholesaler of pharmaceuticals.
  • Distributor – The company distributes pharmaceuticals.
  • Stockist (Regional Distributor) – The company stocks the products, and then distributes them.
  • Importer – The company imports products. For customs purposes, this company makes the import declaration, the shipping document names the company as consignee, and the exporter's invoice names the company as buyer.
  • Exporter – The company exports products. For customs purposes, this company makes the export declaration and sells the products to a company in another country, known as the importer.
  • Returns Processor – The company processes returns.
  • Healthcare Facility – The company dispenses pharmaceuticals as a healthcare facility.
  • Pharmacy – The company sells product directly to patients.

• Street 1 – Street address, including number and street name. Typically, the company address uses the corporate address. Required if any of the following fields contains a value; Street 2, City, District, Village, house number, Township, State Or Region, Postal Code, Country, Building Number, Plant Number, Floor Number, Address Object GUID, House GUID, Premises Code, Company Fax, and Tax Registration Code.

• Street 2 – Any additional address information.
• District – The district for this company's address.
• Village – The village in which this company is located.
• House Number – The identifying number of the building, house, or unit (e.g. 14B) for this company. House numbers are only separated from the street address for addresses in China.
• Township – The township in which this company is located.

• City – The city for this company. Required if any of the following fields contains a value; Street 1, Street 2, District, Village, house number, Township, State Or Region, Postal Code, Country, Building Number, Plant Number, Floor Number, Address Object GUID, House GUID, Premises Code, Company Fax, and Tax Registration Code.

• State or Region – The state or region for this company. Required if any of the following fields contains a value; Street 1, Street 2, City, District, Village, house number, Township, Postal Code, Country, Building Number, Plant Number, Floor Number, Address Object GUID, House GUID, Premises Code, Company Fax, and Tax Registration Code.

• Postal Code – The postal code for this company. Required if any of the following fields contains a value; Street 1, Street 2, City, District, Village, house number, Township, State Or Region, Country, Building Number, Plant Number, Floor Number, Address Object GUID, House GUID, Premises Code, Company Fax, and Tax Registration Code.

• Country – Two-letter country code for this company. Required if any of the following fields contains a value; Street 1, Street 2, City, District, Village, house number, Township, State Or Region, Postal Code, Building Number, Plant Number, Floor Number, Address Object GUID, House GUID, Premises Code, Company Fax, and Tax Registration Code.
• Company Email – This company's main email address.
• Building Number – This company's building number.
• Plant Number – This company's plant number.
• Floor Number – This company's floor number.
• Address Object GUID – The global identifier for the trade partner's entire physical location, assigned by the Russian Federation Information Address System (FIAS). Maximum 36 characters, using the digits 0-9 and letters A-F (e.g. 19406454-0022-000C-00B0-000000000152).
• House GUID – The global identifier for a specific house number or unit within the trade partner's physical location, assigned by the Russian Federation Information Address System (FIAS). Maximum 36 characters, using the digits 0-9 and letters A-F (e.g. 19606494-0022-000A-0067-000000001259).
• Tax Registration Code – The code used to identify this entity for tax or other legal reporting purposes (e.g. a Russia KPP Registration Code). 
• Premises Code – The internal identifier associated with this company. For example, a company with 4 locations in the city of Mumbai that internally refers to the 4th location as MUM4.
• Company Phone – This company's phone number.
• Company Fax – The fax number for this company.

The following fields refer to the trade partner company.

• Name – The regulatory contact's name.
• Email – The regulatory contact's email address.
• Title – The regulatory contact's title.
• Phone – The regulatory contact's phone number.

1. In the Company Information section:
   1. Enter the Name of the trade partner company in the text field.
   2. Select the Partner Type from the drop-down.
   3. Enter the Street 1 in the text field.
   4. Enter the Street 2 in the text field.
   5. Enter the District in the text field.
   6. Enter the Village in the text field.
   7. Enter the House Number in the text field.
   8. Enter the Township in the text field.
   9. Enter the City in the text field.
   10. Enter the State or Region in the text field.
   11. Enter the Postal Code in the text field.
   12. Enter the Country in the type-ahead field.
   13. Enter the Company Email in the text field.
   14. Select a Data Status from the drop-down.
   15. Enter the Building Number in the text field.
   16. Enter the Plant Number in the text field.
   17. Enter the Floor Number in the text field.
   18. Enter the Address Object GUID in the text field.
   19. Enter the House GUID in the text field.
   20. Enter the Tax Registration Code in the text field.
   21. Enter the Premises Code in the text field.
   22. Enter the Company Phone in the text field.
   23. Enter the Company Fax in the text field.
2. In the Regulatory Contact section:
   1. Enter the Name in the text field.
   2. Enter the Email in the text field.
   3. Enter the Title in the text field.
   4. Enter the Phone in the text field.
3. On the Company Identifiers tab, select a Primary Identifier.

   If there are no identifiers:

   1. Select the Identifier Type from the drop-down.
   2. Enter the Value in the text field.

   If a new identifier needs to be added:

   1. Select Add New Identifier.
   2. Select the Identifier Type from the drop-down.
   3. Enter the Value in the text field.

   If the trade partner company only has one location, the trade partner company can act as the company and location entry in Partner Master Data. Add the appropriate company and location identifiers on the Company Identifiers tab.

4. On the Regulatory Licenses tab (optional):
   1. Select Add New License.
   2. Enter the Agency in the text field.
   3. Enter the Country in the text field.
   4. Enter the State or Region in the text field.
   5. Enter the Number in the text field.
5. Select Add Partner Company.

   The View Partner Master Data screen displays.
