Add Company Location

Select Add Location in the Actions column of the results table on the View Company Master Data screen.

Add details about a company's location where product is produced, shipped, or received.

Company locations in the supply chain must be set up in Company Master Data to receive and send requisite product information with its business partners.

• Name – Name of the parent company for this location.
• Primary ID – Identifier used for the parent company of this location.

The following fields refer to information for the company's location (e.g. the internal locations of the Owner).

Companies that use TraceLink for serialization and compliance must enter a value in the Street 1, City, State Or Region, Postal Code, and Country fields.

• Location Name – The name of this particular location.
• Data Status – Indicates whether the Master Data tied to this location is active or inactive.
  • Active – The data can be used in messages and UI functions, and TraceLink pulls the data when necessary.
  • Inactive – The data cannot be pulled for other functions within TraceLink.

  Setting the location data to Inactive disables data only for that specific location.

The following fields refer to information for the company's location (e.g. the internal locations of the Owner).

• Street 1 – Street address, including number and street name. Required if any of the following fields contains a value; Street 2, City, District, Village, house number, Township, State Or Region, Postal Code, Country, Building Number, Plant Number, Floor Number, Address Object GUID, House GUID, Premises Code, Company Fax, and Tax Registration Code.
• Street 2 – Any additional address information.

• District – The district for this location.

• Village – The village in which this location is located.
• House Number – The identifying number of the building, house, or unit (e.g. 14B) for this location. House numbers are only separated from the street address for addresses in China.
• Township – The township in which this location is located.

• City – The city for this location. Required if any of the following fields contains a value; Street 1, Street 2, District, Village, house number, Township, State Or Region, Postal Code, Country, Building Number, Plant Number, Floor Number, Address Object GUID, House GUID, Premises Code, Company Fax, and Tax Registration Code.

• State or Region – The state or region for this location. Required if any of the following fields contains a value; Street 1, Street 2, City, District, Village, house number, Township, Postal Code, Country, Building Number, Plant Number, Floor Number, Address Object GUID, House GUID, Premises Code, Company Fax, and Tax Registration Code.

• Postal Code – The postal code for this location. Required if any of the following fields contains a value; Street 1, Street 2, City, District, Village, house number, Township, State Or Region, Country, Building Number, Plant Number, Floor Number, Address Object GUID, House GUID, Premises Code, Company Fax, and Tax Registration Code.

• Country – Two-letter country code for this location. Required if any of the following fields contains a value; Street 1, Street 2, City, District, Village, house number, Township, State Or Region, Postal Code, Building Number, Plant Number, Floor Number, Address Object GUID, House GUID, Premises Code, Company Fax, and Tax Registration Code.

• Company Email – The company email address tied to this location.
• Company URL – The location's website URL.
• Building Number – This location's building number.
• Plant Number – This location's plant number.
• Floor Number – This location's floor number.
• Tax Registration Code – The code used to identify this entity for tax or other legal reporting purposes (e.g. a Russia KPP Registration Code). 
• Premises Code – The internal identifier a company uses for this location. For example, a company with 4 locations in the city of Mumbai that internally refers to the 4th location as MUM4.
• Affiliate – Whether the location is another business entity or subsidiary of the company.
  • True – The company is another business entity or subsidiary of the company.
  • False – The company is not another business entity of subsidiary of the company.
• Business Type – The type of business this location conducts.
  • Carrying and Forwarding Agent – (CFA) The company facilitates the movement and transfer of goods. In India, CFAs are often involved in moving goods as interstate stock transfers.
  • Chemist – The company specializes in the composition of substances, may mix substances in preparation for dispensation, and has a shop selling medicines and cosmetics. Also know as a compounding facility.
  • Distributor – The company distributes pharmaceuticals.
  • Exporter – The company exports products. For customs purposes, this company makes the export declaration and sells the products to a company in another country, known as the importer.
  • Healthcare Facility – The company dispenses pharmaceuticals as a healthcare facility.
  • Importer – The company imports products. For customs purposes, this company makes the import declaration, the shipping document names the company as consignee, and the exporter's invoice names the company as buyer.
  • Logistics – The company provides logistics services (e.g. LSP, 3PL).
  • Manufacturer – The license holder of the pharmaceutical product (e.g. Brand Owners, Generics, MAHs, Specialty Companies).
  • Packager – The company packages products.
  • Pharmacy – The company sells product directly to patients.
  • Returns Processor – The company processes returns.
  • Stockist (Regional Distributor) – The company stocks the products, and then distributes them.
  • Wholesaler – The company is a wholesaler of pharmaceuticals.
• Business Logo – Image file with the location's logo, which displays on the View Company Location Details screen.

  Maximum file size is 2 KB. The file must be a BMP, JPG, GIF, or PNG.

• Company Phone – This location's phone number.

• Company Fax – The fax number for this location.

• Name – The regulatory contact's name.
• Email – The regulatory contact's email address.
• Title – The regulatory contact's title.
• Phone – The regulatory contact's phone number.

1. In the Location Information section:
   1. Enter the Location Name in the text field.
   2. Enter the Street 1 in the text field.
   3. Enter the Street 2 in the text field.
   4. Enter the District in the text field.
   5. Enter the Village in the text field.
   6. Enter the House Number in the text field.
   7. Enter the Township in the text field.
   8. Enter the City in the text field.
   9. Enter the State or Region in the text field.
   10. Enter the Postal Code in the text field.
   11. Enter the Country in the type-ahead field.
   12. Enter the Company Email in the text field.
   13. Enter the Company URL in the text field.
   14. Select a Data Status from the drop-down.
   15. Enter the Building Number in the text field.
   16. Enter the Plant Number in the text field.
   17. Enter the Floor Number in the text field.
   18. Enter the Tax Registration Code in the text field.
   19. Enter the Premises Code in the text field.
   20. Select the Affiliate from the drop-down.
   21. Select the Business Type from the drop-down.
   22. Select Choose File to upload a Business Logo.
   23. Enter the Company Phone in the text field.
   24. Enter the Company Fax in the text field.
2. In the Regulatory Contact section:
1. Enter the Name in the text field.
2. Enter the Email in the text field.
3. Enter the Title in the text field.
4. Enter the Phone in the text field.
3. On the Location Identifiers tab, select a Primary Identifier.

   If there are no identifiers:

   1. Select the Identifier Type from the drop-down.
   2. Enter the Value in the text field.

   If a new identifier needs to be added:

   1. Select Add New Identifier.
   2. Select the Identifier Type from the drop-down.
   3. Enter the Value in the text field.
4. On the Regulatory Licenses tab (optional):
   1. Select Add New License.
   2. Enter the Agency in the text field.
   3. Enter the Country in the text field.
   4. Enter the State or Region in the text field.
   5. Enter the Number in the text field.
5. Select Add Location.

   The View Company Master Data screen displays, and the new location displays in the results table.
