Documents of Serialization (DoS)

• Select Documents of Serialization from the Management landing page.
• Expand the Management Navigation in the header of any screen, and select Documents of Serialization.

Managers for Serial Number Exchange use this screen to configure which information TraceLink includes in Documents of Serialization (DoS).

The DoS records allow companies to securely exchange and monitor serialization events that contain certain information about a produced batch, serial numbers generated for that batch, and batch yield parameters.

• Document Title – A customized title. Defaults to "Document of Serialization."

  Change only affects the PDF format.

• Verified By Label – Defaults to "Verified By." Available for all formats (disabled unless Verified By under Included Content is selected).
• Verification Date Label – Defaults to "Verification Date." Available for all formats (disabled unless Verified By under Included Content is selected).
• Company Logo – Specifies where to position the logo on the DoS (disabled unless Company Logo under Included Content is selected).
  • Top Left – (default) The logo displays in the top-left.
  • Top Right – The logo displays in the top-right.
• Language – The language in which the document is generated.

  • Select All (default)
  • Internal Material Number – The internal number given to the product by the Owner.
  • Country Drug Code – The identifier that indicates which country the product will be distributed.
  • Packaging Code – The serialized code applied to the product, e.g. GTIN. Contains the code type and the code itself.
  • Packaging Site – The site to which the product is packaged. Contains a site prefix and a site ID (e.g. EG DUNS 769820861).
  • Production Line ID – The identifier used at the manufacturer site to determine the physical location of production.
  • Production Date – The date that the product was produced.
  • Purchase Order Number – The number of the Purchase Order associated with the product being documented.
  • Verified By – The user that verifies the product.
  • Verification Date – The date the product is verified.
  • Company Logo – The Owner's logo.

1. Enter a Document Title in the text field.
2. Enter a Verified by label in the text field.
3. Enter a Verification Date Label in the text field.
4. Select a Company Logo position from the radio buttons.
5. Select a Language from the radio buttons.
6. Select the desired Included Content checkboxes.
7. Select Save.

   TraceLink saves the updates Documents of Serialization configuration.
   

• Select Reset.

  The Documents of Serialization configuration options return to the TraceLink defaults.

  Resetting the DoS configuration options cannot be undone.
