Troubleshoot a problem

Kazakhstan provides only an OMS production environment. Crypto code requests made in TraceLink's iTest environment are directed to the OMS production environment. Contact CRPT to request CRPT-provided test GTINs that can be used for testing purposes against the production OMS system. Do not use valid GTINs for testing against the production OMS system.

Crypto codes

Companies that receive serial numbers from an external system (e.g. a CMO that receives serial numbers from their MAH, or an MAH that uses an external serial number manager) do not see an Order ID in Kazakhstan Crypto Codes because the external system is responsible for requesting crypto codes from the OMS.

  • Crypto codes must be enabled in the serial number template assigned to the location.
  • Check the serial number templates that the company uses for products distributed in Kazakhstan and confirm that:

    • Crypto codes are enabled.

    • The template is assigned to the appropriate locations.

      Kazakhstan requires each foreign manufacturing location to have its own unique GTIN packaging code, so the company might use many serial number templates for the same product, each of which is assigned to only one location.

    • The MAH ID assignee on the OMS Credentials tab in Company Administration is also listed as the MAH ID in Product Master Data.
