ESM Country Clearance Overview

The Country Clearance message enables Owners to communicate with a government reporting agency the transfer of products between countries and provide supporting documentation. There are two methods of performing a Country Clearance:

1. Customs Clearance – Use this for the customs declaration of goods that are being transferred between countries. Set tl:clearanaceType to CUSTOMS to perform a customs clearance.
2. Trade Clearance – Use this for declaration of goods that are being transferred between countries that have a cooperative trade agreement. Set tl:clearanceType to TRADE to perform a trade clearance.
