HDMA ASN Transaction History Overview

The HDMA ASN Transaction History message is used by Pharmaceutical Manufacturers and Wholesale Distributors when a Trade Partner purchases an Rx product from them. The Pharmaceutical Manufacturers and Wholesale Distributors send Transaction Histories in support of the US Federal DQSA requirements using the HDMA X12 856 ASN Format. Both EDI 4010 and 4030 versions are supported and are only differentiated by their values in the ISA12 and GS08 elements.
