View Exceptions
Overview

Select Exceptions on the left of any screen in Serialized Operations Manager.

- View and search the exceptions that were recorded during receiving deliveries.
- Access the details of a recorded exception.
Search Criteria

- - The unique SOM Exception ID to identify the exception record.
- Data, No Product – The serialized information for a product exists but product is not physically received.
- Product, No Data – A product is received and there is no accompanying serialization information for that product.
- Damaged Product – A damaged, unusable, stolen, or missing product is received.
- The type of exception. - - Number that uniquely identifies the shipment.
- - The date when the exception was recorded, or a date after when the exception was recorded. Only exceptions that are recorded on or after this date display in the results table.
- - The date when the exception was recorded, or a date before when the exception was recorded. Only exceptions that are recorded on or before this date display in the results table.
Results Table

- - The unique SOM Exception ID to identify the exception record.
- - The date when the exception was recorded.
- - The number that uniquely identifies the shipment.
- - The type of exception.
- - The identifier and the name of the company sending the receipt.
- - The location of the business sending the receipt.

Default order in the results table is by the Date column (ascending). Sort the results by selecting any column header.

The View Exception screen displays.

- Select the link in the third column for any row.
The Delivery screen for the corresponding type of delivery displays.
Error Messages

Errors either display at the top of the screen or are found in Info Exchange (may vary):
Error Message | Description |

Serial Numbers [Serial Numbers] are not included in the receipt and cannot be reported against the Exception Type [Exception Type]. | All Serial Numbers to be recorded for Data, No Product, or Damaged Product exception types must exist in the receipt. |
Serial Numbers [Serial Numbers] are included in the receipt and cannot be reported against the Exception Type [Exception Type]. | All Serial Numbers to be recorded for Product, No Data exception type must not exist in the receipt. |
Serial Numbers [Serial Numbers] have a status of [List of serial number statuses]. Serial Numbers [Serial Numbers] must be in Pending Receipt status to be reported against the Exception Type [Exception Type]. | All Serial Numbers must be in Pending Receipt state, which is a requirement for recording a Data, No Product exception type. |
Serial Numbers [Serial Numbers] have a status of [List of serial number statuses]. Serial Numbers [Serial Numbers] must be in Decommissioned or Destroyed status to be reported against the Exception Type [Exception Type]. | All Serial Numbers must be in Decommissioned or Destroyed state, which is a requirement for recording a Damaged Product exception type. |
