Update Lot Information
Overview

Select the Status Update drop-down in the left-hand panel.

- Update an incorrect lot number, expiration date, or extended expiration date without having to decommission the lot and then re-commission it with the correct details.
- Add or correct a lot's barcode expiration date, which indicates that the expiration date on the lot's packaging is different from the commissioned expiration date in TraceLink.
- Reassign all serial numbers in a lot to an existing lot number in the TraceLink system that the serial numbers should have initially been commissioned to.
Getting Started

Have the incorrect (current) and correct (new)

Reassigns all serial numbers in a given lot to the correct lot number (must exist in the TraceLink system) to which the serial numbers should have originally been commissioned.
Mandatory Fields
- - An Internal Material Number or Country Drug Code in the type-ahead field (pulls from Master Data). The format is [Product Code Type] [Product Code Value].
- - The number associated with the Internal Material Number or Country Drug Code, which identifies the serial numbers for the report..
- - The correct lot number associated with the Internal Material Number or Country Drug Code, which identifies the serial number of the report.

Updates all serial numbers in the Lot Number field with the correct Lot Number, Expiration Date, or Barcode Expiration Date. Select this action to correct lot information with a new Lot Number that does not currently exist in the TraceLink system.
Mandatory Fields

The Values Table only displays after entering a valid Lot Number and selecting the button.

This value is used for compliance reporting in the EU and should only be provided when there is a discrepancy between the current value and the expiration date returned when an item's packaging is scanned.

If only correcting the Lot number, Item Code, Expiration Date, Barcode Expiration Date, or Extended Expiration Date, it is required that its corresponding Correct Value be entered.

If reassigning serial numbers to an existing lot in addition to correcting the lot's Expiration Date, the Correct the Lot Information function must be performed to correct the Expiration Date before the Reassign Serial Number to an Existing Lot function can be performed.

- Select the Reassign Serial Numbers to an Existing Lot radio button.

Error Messages

Errors either display at the top of the screen or are found in Info Exchange (may vary):
