Set Product Release Status

Select the Status Update drop-down in the left-hand panel.

Set all serial numbers in a specific lot to Quality Released, indicating the product's quality inspection is complete and it is fit for sale.

Have the Item Code and Lot Number values readily available for this function.

• Item Code - Either an Internal Material Number or Country Drug Code from Product Master Data. The item code's description displays below this field (e.g. "Amoxicillin 200mg/5ml Susp").
• Lot Number - The number associated with the Packaging Item Code, Country Drug Code, or Internal Material Number.

  If the lot does not exist and the Production Quantity is not specified, TraceLink creates a new lot and sets the Quality Released Attribute for the lot. If the lot does not exist and the Production Quantity is specified, TraceLink does not process the request.

Some optional fields may be mandatory per a country's regulatory requirements. Select a country to view mandatory fields for that country.

Russia

• Quality Control Entity - Mandatory when the commissioning location of the lot is not Russia and the Target Market is Russia.
• Transaction IDs - The following fields are mandatory when the lot's commissioning location and Target Market are Russia:
  • Identifier Type - The type of identifier for the transaction.
  • Identifier Value - The value of the identifier for the transaction.
  • Document Date - The date printed on the corresponding transaction document.

• Quality Control Entity - The company or location where the product is tested for quality. This field pulls from both Company and Partner Master Data.
• Transaction IDs - The business transaction identifier and type.
• Identifier Type - The type of identifier for the transaction.
• Identifier Value - The value of the identifier for the transaction.
• Document Date - The date printed on the corresponding transaction document.
• Production Quantity - The quantity of serial numbers commissioned for each packaging level in the lot.

  If product is involved in a Commissioning or Aggregation event that is currently processing, TraceLink will park and retry the operation to verify the Production Quantity details for a given Lot Number before triggering any configured compliance reports.

  • Packaging Level - The packaging hierarchy level(s) of the product.

    Defaults to Each for the first row added to the table. An Each Packaging Level is required if any Product Quantity is entered.

    • Each - The smallest salable unit a product can be serialized in.
    • Inner Pack/Bundle - Contains a group of eaches.

    • Case/Shipper - The next level of packaging. Contains a group of Inner Packs/Bundles.

      • SSCC - Enabled when Case/Shipper is selected.
        • If SSCC is selected, enter a GS1 Company Prefix in the Packaging Code field.
        • If SSCC is not selected, enter a GTIN, NTIN, or CN-ResCode in the Packaging Code field.

          An SSCC applies to a grouping of product contained in a partial case or shipper. Serial numbers apply to full cases/shippers.

    • Pallet - The largest packaging level. Contains a group of Cases/Shippers.
  • Packaging Code - The code assigned to a specific level of packaging aggregation.

1. Select the desired entity in the Show Data From drop-down at the top of the screen.
2. Enter an Item Code in the type-ahead field.
3. Enter a Lot Number in the text field.
4. Enter the Quality Control Entity in the type-ahead field.
5. In the Transaction IDs table:
   1. Select the Add Another link in the table header.

      A blank row displays.

   2. Select an Identifier Type from the drop-down.
   3. Enter an Identifier Value in the text field.
   4. Select a Document Date from the date picker.
6. In the Production Quantity table:

   1. Identify items at the Each level:

      1. Select Add Level.
      2. Select a Packaging Code from the drop-down.
      3. Enter the Quantity in the text field.

   2. Identify items at another Packaging Level:

      1. Select Add Level.
      2. Select a Packaging Level from the drop-down.
      3. Select a Packaging Code from the drop-down.
      4. Enter the Quantity in the text field.
7. Select the Submit button.

   TraceLink asynchronously processes the request. The confirmation message "The request to assign the Quality Released Attribute to all serial numbers in Lot [Lot Number] is being processed. A notification displays when the request completes." displays at the top of a blank Set Product Release Status screen.
