Get Lot Status

Select the Queries drop-down in the left-hand panel.

• Retrieve information about a lot and the items it is comprised of from the Serialized Operations Manager repository.

  Querying a lot number and item code returns information about the items in that lot, any repackaging events directly involving the queried lot, and general information about the lot itself, such as the its expiration date and how many serial numbers are in it. This information can be used for reference.

• Download serial numbers that were recalled from the queried lot (either in a full or partial batch recall).

  Querying a lot number and its associated item code reveals if any of the serial numbers in that lot have been recalled.

When scanning, entering, or uploading a file to populate serial numbers, each number must be:

• On a separate row.
• Without any special characters.
• In one of the formats below:

SGTIN Serial Numbers

Used for:

• Items
• Innerpacks
• Bundles
• Cases and Shippers

The format is the AI(01)(21) serial number in barcode format:

1. First is the 01 Application Identifier
2. Followed by the GTIN-14 number
3. Followed by the 21 Application Identifier
4. Followed by the serial number

   Example: 010088202401033921725368249416

SSCC Serial Numbers

Used for:

• Pallets
• Mixed cases

The format is the AI(00) serial number in barcode format:

1. First is the 00 Application Identifier
2. Followed by the SSCC-18 code

   Example: 00008820200000050254

China EDMC Codes

Used for:

• Items
• Innerpacks
• Bundles
• Cases and Shippers

The format is the full 20-digit China serial number, as in this example: 81102302020117515452

• Item Code - The Packaging Item Code (e.g. the GTIN-14, CN-ResCode, or GS1 Company Prefix value), the Country Drug Code, or the Internal Material number associated with the lot number.
• Lot Number - The number associated with the Packaging Item Code, Country Drug Code, or Internal Material Number.

  The Lot Number is assigned during commissioning.

Errors either display at the top of the screen or are found in Info Exchange (may vary):

• Item Code - The country drug code that associates with the lot (this relationship is established during the commissioning of the serial numbers against the lot).
• Packaging Codes - The packaging-level item code(s) that associate with the serial numbers in the lot (e.g. GTIN-14, NTIN, CN-Subtype Code).
• Internal Material Number - This number identifies the product (pulls from Product Master Data).
• Market Withdrawal Status - A Yes/No indicator of whether or not the Lot Number is withdrawn from any Target Markets.
• Market Withdrawal Effective Date - The date that the serial numbers are withdrawn.

  Displays only if the Market Withdrawal Status is Yes.

• Market Withdrawal Target Markets - The Target Markets that the serial numbers are withdrawn from.

  Displays only if the Market Withdrawal Status is Yes.

• Market Withdrawal Reason Description - The reason that the serial numbers are withdrawn.

  Displays only if the Market Withdrawal Status is Yes.

• Lot Number - The number associated with the Packaging Item Code, Country Drug Code, or Internal Material Number.
• Expiration Date - The lot's expiration date.
• Barcode Expiration Date - The expiration date returned when the barcode on the packaging of any serial number in the lot is scanned.

  Displays only if a Barcode Expiration Date is added to the lot.

• Quality Released - A Yes/No indicator of whether the Product Release status has been set against the lot. This status indicates that the serialized products are no longer in a quality hold state (Yes) or are still under quality testing (No).
• Quantity In Repository - The number of serial numbers within the lot.

  SSCC codes are not counted in this number.

  • Total - The total number of serial numbers at the lot level. Excludes Decommissioned and Destroyed serial numbers.
  • Level n - Each Level designates a packaging level with serial numbers assigned to it. The n designates which level, ordered from lowest to highest. Levels only display for packaging levels with serial numbers assigned. Quantities only include Commissioned serial numbers in an Available state.

    In the example below, Level 1 is the number of serial numbers assigned to Eaches in the lot, and Level 4 is the number of serial numbers assigned to Pallets in the lot.

• Market Release Status – Indicates whether or not all or some of the serial numbers in the lot have been released. Options are:
  • Yes – Indicates that all serial numbers in the lot are released.
  • No – Indicates that no serial numbers in the lot are released.
  • Partial – Indicates that some of the serial numbers in the lot are released.
• Market Release Markets - The Target Markets that the serial numbers are released into for distribution.

  Displays only if the Market Release Status is Yes or Partial.

• Product Recall Status - Indicates whether or not all or some of the serial numbers in the lot have been recalled. Options are:
  • Yes – Indicates that all serial numbers in the lot are recalled.
  • No – Indicates that no serial numbers in the lot are recalled.
  • Partial – Indicates that some of the serial numbers in the lot are recalled.
• Product Recall Effective Date – The date that the serial numbers are recalled.

  Displays only if the Product Recall Status is Yes.

• Product Recall Target Markets – The Target Markets that the serial numbers are recalled from.

  Displays only if the Product Recall Status is Yes.

• Product Recall Reason Description – The reason that the serial numbers are recalled.

  Displays only if the Product Recall Status is Yes.

• Item Code - The packaging level item code that associates with the serial number.
  • CN-Subtype Code
  • GS1 Company Prefix (for SSCCs)
  • GTIN-14
  • NTIN
• Lot Number - The unique lot identifier.

• Product Recall Effective Date – The date that the serial numbers in a partial lot/batch were recalled.
• Target Markets – The Target Markets that the serial numbers in a partial lot/batch were recalled from.
• Reason Description – The reason that the serial numbers in a partial lot/batch were recalled.
• Serial Numbers – Contains the Recalled Serial Numbers link, which downloads the serial numbers contained in a partial lot/batch recall.

• Status – Indicates whether all or some of the serial numbers in the lot have been released.
• Market Release Market – The Target Markets that the serial numbers in a partial lot are released into.
• Transaction ID – The business transaction identifier type, value, and date.
• Serial Numbers – Contains the Released Serial Numbers link, which downloads the serial numbers contained in a partial release.

  Displays only if the Market Release Status is Partial.

1. Select the desired entity in the Show Data From drop-down at the top of the screen.
2. Enter the Item Code in the type-ahead field, or select the type-ahead icon to display all Item Code options.
3. Enter the Lot Number in the text field.
4. Select the Search button.

   The lot status query results display.

1. Select the Recalled Serial Numbers link in the Serial Numbers column of the Partial Product Recall Information table.
