ServiceLink How-Tos
The Company Administration ServiceLinks function manages Links for US Product Track and Multienterprise Process Connect only. Manage Links for other apps in Management.
When you select , it searches for the company on the network. If it does not find the company on the network, it creates a No Match Found.
Search Links
- Hover over on the User Profile drop-down in the top right of any screen, and then select ServiceLinks.
- Fill in one or more of the following search fields:
- – Only Links to the type of app selected return in the results table.
- – Only Links with the status selected return in the results table.
- All
- Linked – The Link is established between the Owner and the Partner.
- Not Linked - All – All Links that were unable to establish a relationship with a specific Partner.
- Not Linked - Multiple Matches – The Link failed because the Partner in the imported file matched more than one company or location.
- Not Linked - No Match Found – The Link failed because the Partner in the imported file did not match any company or location.
- – Only Links updated on or after the selected date return in the results table. Defaults to 7 days prior to the current GMT date.
- – Only Links updated on or before the selected date return in the results table. Defaults to the current GMT date.
- – Only Links for the Partner selected return in the results table. The identifiers populate from Company and Partner Master Data.
- – Filters the results to Links that contain the entered in the , , , , ,, or fields.
- Select .
The results display in the table.
Create a Link
Partner companies and locations must be:
- Added to Company or Partner Master Data.
- Added to the Manage Partners screen.
- Hover over on the User Profile drop-down in the top right of any screen, and then select ServiceLinks.
- Select .
- Select the type of app through which the Link establishes a business relationship with a Partner from the drop-down.
- Enter the company or location that the Link establishes a business relationship with.
Partners only display in the type-ahead field if their entry in Company or Partner Master Data is assigned a globally recognized identifier (e.g. DEA, DUNS, HIN).
- Enter the in the text field (optional).
If the email does not correspond to a user in the , the TraceLink Network assigns a Company Administrator at the as the Manager. - Select to add another Link.
- Repeat steps 3 - 6 for each Link to add.
- Select .
The Manage ServiceLinks screen displays, and TraceLink begins sending Link invitations to all of the specified Partners.
The Manager at the Partner company or location receives an email with the Link invitation, and must accept it to Link to the app.
Import Links
- Hover over on the User Profile drop-down in the top right of any screen, and then select ServiceLinks.
- Select the Import ServiceLinks
icon in the top-right. - Select the owned by the company that the Link establishes a business relationship with.
- Select .
- Browse for and select the desired (see Formatting the CSV for more information).
- Select .
The Manage ServiceLinks screen displays.
