Production and warehousing

The Supply (Foreign) report captures the product release of items that were commissioned in a country other than Saudi Arabia, before the items are introduced to the Saudi Arabian market.

The Supply (Foreign) report is not required to comply with SFDA regulations, however, it enables Pharmaceutical Manufacturers to proactively report new products to the DTTS if the products will be imported to Saudi Arabia later.

  • Report Date – The date and time that the report generates, and the user that generates the report.

  • Report Type – Supply (Foreign).

  • Status – The status of the report or upload, which tracks its transmission from TraceLink to the DTTS or PTS.

  • Reporting GLN – The identifier of the location whose credentials were used to authenticate to the DTTS or PTS.
  • Manufacturing Date – The manufacturing date of the serialized items in the report.
  • Packaging Code – The GTIN packaging code of the serialized items. Format is [Packaging Code Type] [Packaging Code Value].
  • Description – A description of the product, sourced from Product Master Data. This information displays, but is not reported to the DTTS or PTS.
  • Expiration Date – The expiration date of the serialized items in the lot.
  • Lot Number – The lot or batch number associated with the serial numbers.
  • Quantity – The quantity of serial numbers in the report.

  • Response Received – The date and time that TraceLink receives a response message from the DTTS or PTS.

  • Notification ID – The notification ID received from the DTTS.
  • Quantity Succeeded – The quantity of serial numbers successfully uploaded to the DTTS.
  • Quantity Failed – The quantity of serial numbers that could not be reported to the DTTS.
  • Error Description – The report-level error returned by the DTTS or PTS, if applicable.

  • Error Details – Serial number-level errors returned by the DTTS, if applicable.

    • Quantity – The quantity of serial numbers that received the Error Code from the DTTS.

The Deactivate report captures serialized items that are decommissioned or destroyed in Saudi Arabia.

  • Deactivate Reason Code – The reason that the items are decommissioned or destroyed (e.g. Damaged).
  • Deactivate Explanation – A description of the reason for decommissioning or destroying the items.

  • Description – A description of the product, sourced from Product Master Data. This information displays, but is not reported to the DTTS or PTS.

Sales shipments

The Dispatch (Foreign Sale) report captures serialized items that are exported from another country to Saudi Arabia as a sales shipment.

  • To Business GLN – The identifier of the company location that receives the sales shipment.
  • To Business Name – The name of the company location that receives the sales shipment. This information displays, but is not reported to the DTTS or PTS.

The PTS Upload (Foreign Sale) report provides visibility into the contents of an upload to the PTS for serialized items that are exported from another country to Saudi Arabia and reported to the DTTS in a related Import report by the receiver of the shipment. The PTS Upload (Foreign Sale) report is a receipt of the upload only and is not submitted to the DTTS.

  • Report Date – The date and time that the report generates, and the user that generates the report.

The PTS Download report provides visibility into the contents of a download from the PTS when receiving serialized items in a sales shipment. The PTS Download report is a receipt of the download only and is not submitted to the DTTS.
